Author's note, November 12th, 2017: Hello everyone! Long time no see~ I posted this in my about already, but for anyone who didn't see who's new or returning, I'm also posting it in all of my works! I have opened a new account on Quotev where I'll post my writing since I think it's improved a lot over the past, like, year (basically since the last time I posted a story online). If you'd like to check it out, the link is https://www.quotev.com/sunmii. I'll likely start taking requests there once I get a bigger following and establish myself better :) Thank you all for your immense love <3 See you soon!

(Reader's POV)
"I'm getting married..." I froze. My back was facing him so I couldn't see his expression. He sounded unhappy about the whole situation, but I couldn't be sure.
"Wh-what?"
"I'm...getting married, (y/n)-ah." I suddenly felt as if I had died, as if my heart had broken into a million tiny pieces and it could never ever be repaired again. Was this really happening right now? 'He must be joking,' I thought.
I looked over my shoulder at him. He was wearing that exact same hoodie that he always let me borrow when I was cold or upset. It was old and it smelled sweet, just like him. God, I always loved that hoodie. Every time I saw it, it looked so beautiful and comforting. It reminded me of warmth, of happiness, of him.
But when I looked at it now, it seemed so old and tattered. Probably because he'd let her wear it a lot, whoever she was. It made me feel so angry and jealous...and hurt.
He noticed me looking at him and then looked at his hoodie. He frowned. "You can have it, if you want--"
"No. I--"
"She has never even looked at it, I promise. And you're the only other person that has ever worn it." I gave him an unconvinced look. He sighed and walked up to me, wrapping his arms around me. I knew I should push him away, but I couldn't budge. I really wanted him to hold me like this. I felt safe in his arms. But now...I knew I'd never feel it again. He was getting married and now...I didn't have any chance of being his one and only."I'm sorry..." he whispered. "I really do love only you."
(3rd POV)
(Y/n) walked home in the rain, alone again. She hadn't been seeing anyone lately, not even her family. She was too depressed. Sure, she went to work, but that was about it. 4 months had passed since Ji Yong had told her about his engagement. (Y/n) still wondered how he could keep such a thing from her. He must have been hiding it for such a long time...
A tear rolled down her rain-soaked cheek. Her pace only grew slower as she neared the end of the sidewalk. She was in her own world, unaware of her surrounding. (Y/n) had unintentionally trained herself to shut the world out of her life. Now it was if she were a walking ghost, alone and in a death-like state.
(Y/n) briefly looked up as she crossed the road. She didn't flinch for a second as she watched the car come towards her at a fast pace. The driver looked young and they were fumbling around for something? The brake? Probably. A small smile spread across (y/n)'s lips. She realized that she wouldn't have to suffer anymore. Now she would be at peace.
She stood perfectly still and then closed her eyes. She felt a sudden searing pain go through her entire body, but only for a moment before everything went black and she entered into a coma...

(Ji Yong's POV)
Tears threatened to fall as I sat at my desk, staring at a picture of her. I wanted so badly to touch her, to kiss her, to hold her. But it wasn't possible, I knew that. Because of a marriage I didn't consent to, I had lost her.
