Tessa's POV

"Faster!" D.o yelled while another drop of sweat fell from my forehead.

I ran in between the two obstacles in front of me with a perfect split and faced the next one

"These are not just to practice but i have to see how good have you got" D.o said and i sighted. again.

Is been a week since he started training me and i can swear i never wanted to die more that in this moment. He would always wake me up at five in the morning starting with a run and then straight to training till eight at nigh with a little break at noon for lunch but still in the training center. I swear that i think i got more bruises in the last week than in my teen years. I stared at him with a glare, i was missing just two obstacles and then i was done but it was already nine and i was dying to lay on my bed.

"Yah!" he yelled at me crossing his arms on his chest showing his biceps, i looked away fast focusing on the target at at least fifteen meters away from me "Do you want me to go there and force you to do everything again?"

I sighted and looked at the target, i was supposed to poke the center with the two daggers in my boots, i looked around and saw nothing but a rock. I looked back at the target and remembered about what D.o told me about how appearances can be deceiving and i threw the rock at the target, smirking in watching shattered in million pieces. A force field.

I took both of the daggers from my boots and focused on the target, and counting to ten i threw the dagger, immediately followed by the second one.

I watched as the two cut the air, aiming for their target and when the first one was about get near the target i thought my idea was stupid, even more when the first dagger shattered into pieces like ashes but when i saw the barrier opening, even if for a second i hoped. I smirked when i saw the second dagger stuck in the middle of the target.

I turned around smirking and my eyes met with D.o's. I walked to him and stopped a few meters away with my hands on my hips, smiling proudly. But he just stood there, like a statue.

"So?" i said with expectation

"I remember i said that both daggers were supposed to hit the target." he said and my face fell. Ok, i should've expected it, especially from him.

I turned around and just sighted, heading to the bench were my stuff was and started to pack up

"What are you doing?" he asked and i threw my hands in the air as sign of exasperation and turned to him

"I am going home. Is passed nine and i have passed the test so now i will go home"i said turning around starting to pack my stuff again

"I didn't say you could" he pointed out with his superiority tone. I turned to him with a towel in my hand

"That is the point! You don't say nothing" he was taken back by the fact that i was shouting at him "the only thing you have been doing the whole week is just train me like i am some kind of animal without a minimum of recognition for my hard work and nonexistent conversations but you shouting at me because my knees are not high enough!"

I did it. I pulled it all out. I don't know why i cared so much about that or just even him but i did and that made me even more frustrated. He walked to me and i stood there froze, starting to curse my mouth for talking to much.

D.o's POV

She finally pulled it out, i wanted to smile because we were fighting. Again.

I walked closer to her and noticed her light brown hair moving slightly with the movement of her chest raising and i wanted really bad to touch them. She wasn't in wrong, the whole week i have been nagging at her but i couldn't help myself. I was trying to get her ready for the games since she had already enough disadvantage since she was not trained as long as the others but she promised well.
