As Arjun walked back to his dorm later that day, the events replayed in his mind. He found himself thinking about Sana more than he expected. He couldn't help but wonder about her—how she would adjust to this new environment, whether she would grow in confidence, and whether he would cross paths with her again. There was a sense of unfinished business, something that felt unresolved.

That evening, as Arjun sat at the dinner table with his mother, he tried to push his thoughts of Sana aside. But his mind kept drifting back to the image of her tear-streaked face, the way she had looked at him with such gratitude. His mother noticed the distracted look on his face and raised an eyebrow.

"Ellamae okey thaane Arju?" she asked, concerned.

Arjun hesitated, his fork hovering mid-air. "Ama maa ellam okey thaan. It's just... something happened today. I helped a girl. She was being ragged by some seniors. She was really upset, and I couldn't just let them get away with it."

His mother, always perceptive, studied his face. "And how did you feel about that?"

Arjun paused, thinking about it. He hadn't really analyzed it until now. "Teriyalae ,maa. I felt... protective. Ava puthusu ma inga,i could see how scared she was, like she didn't know what to do. It felt like I had to step in."

His mother smiled knowingly, her voice soft. "Sometimes, Arju, it's the people we least expect who leave the biggest impression on us. Don't ignore that feeling.Trust your instinct.'

Arjun nodded, though he wasn't entirely sure what he was feeling. He didn't know if it was just a fleeting emotion or something deeper. But he couldn't shake the thought of Sana, the way her eyes had looked at him as if she saw him as her savior. It wasn't just about stopping the ragging; it was about something more—something that had yet to unfold.

As the evening wore on, Arjun found himself wondering what would happen the next time he saw her. Would he be able to help her more? Would their paths cross in a way that would change everything?

For now, all he knew was that something about her had stirred a part of him he didn't fully understand. And that was enough for him to be curious about what might lie ahead.

'Arjun!Arjunnnnn',called Adi who came to get signature from Arjun stunned to looking Arjun whose  eyes is closed leaning on the chair which he hadn't does before even he is tired.Even Arjun is tired he will make himself a cup of his favourite coffee and continue doing his work..Adi thn began shaking Arjun slightly. Due to the shake Arjun opened his eyes in a jerk, his thought about Sana drift away for a second thinking something happen to her ,his breath coming in shallow gaps while his lips muttered 'Papa',which Adi heard but act like he didn't care.

Arjun blinked a few times, trying to shake off the fogginess from his mind. The soft touch of Adi's hand on his shoulder snapped him out of his daze, and he quickly sat up straight, his breath still coming in shallow, uneven gasps. The room around him felt distant for a moment, and then reality hit him like a wave.

"Arjun! Arjunnnn!" Adi's voice was louder now, filled with concern. Arjun's eyes focused on his friend, who was standing in front of him, looking worried. Adi had been trying to get his attention for a while, but Arjun hadn't noticed until now.

"Aju nee okey ah da?" Adi asked, his brow furrowed as he noticed the unusual stillness in Arjun's demeanor. It wasn't like him to zone out like that, especially when there was work to be done.

Arjun took a deep breath, rubbing his face with both hands to clear the lingering fatigue. "Onnum illa daa. Just a little... lost in thought."

Adi raised an eyebrow. "Lost in thought? He reached for the cup of water that Arjun had placed on the table and passed it to Arjun. Intha itha kudi. After Arjun drank the water fully Adi start..

Cheri atha vidu intha ithula un signature vendum,"said handing him the file that needed Arjun signature for approval. But not as usual, Arjun did not asked him many questions about why the signature needed, but just sign and give back to Adi.This make Adi to get more worried about Arjun, but quietly he went out the cabin leaning a space for Arjun to calm himself.

As Adi went out,Arjun leaned back in his chair, trying to mask the unease that had settled in his chest. After a while of him being in her thought,he had tried to focus on his work, but thoughts of her kept creeping in, making it hard to concentrate. His mind once again drifted back to Sana. He hadn't realized how deeply that moment had affected him until now. She wasn't just another freshman he had helped—there was something about her, something in the way she looked at him with those wide, grateful eyes, that had stuck with him. This thought makes Arjun to sigh deeply.

"Anyway, I better finish this up first," Arjun said. He tried to focus on his work, but the nagging feeling in the pit of his stomach wouldn't go away. In the mid-evening he finally finish his work and headed to his home after cleaning his stuff.

'Ammaaa, inga vaayen,Arjun shouted as soon as he entered his house.

'Enna da,vanthonayaum kaathare?'.'Enna achi'?,asked his mother who come from the garden hurriedly as soon as she heard Arjun shouting.

'Inga okaru ma konja neeram';saying so he made his mother sit on the sofa and lied on her lap clutching her mundhanai to which his mother smile and caress his soft mane  softly. He snuggle into his mother's lap hiding his face from her , while his tears start streaming even his eyes are closed.

Sensing his tears on her thigh, his mother sigh and gently pat his shoulder. She then take a deep breath before asking,'Avala pathiya, kutty ma?'......
