Moving to Spain , and into a new house, wasn't exactly what me and my twin sister Lily really wanted. Actually I kind of did, but Lily was complaining the whole time on the plane, and now while we were driving up to the new house, which has been owned by our family throughout generations, she was getting more annoying.

"I didn't even want to move, I loved my school, and my boyfriend, and my friends, it just isn't fair!" Lily complains, sadly sighing and leaning back into her seat. I laugh "Your boyfriend was a jerk, and your friends were bullies" I said, shaking my head and looking out the window. She punches me gently on the arm "He was not a jerk, and I told you Violet, i did everything i could to make them stop being mean to you, but they wouldn't even listen to me" She says, sighing again. "Yeah i know, i don't expect them too anyway"  I say back. She nods and rolls her eyes, looking out the window.

"Nearly there" my mum says. I smile widely and Lily just groans. As we come into view of a massive old brick mansion, and a massive front yard. I gasp, and even Lily leans forward in curiosity and looks out at it with wide eyes. It was a beautiful house, and honestly I am happy we moved, i definitely wont miss high school back in America. I couldn't wait to get inside, i couldn't wait to run up the stairs and search for a bedroom that i could call my own, i couldn't wait to see how big it was inside. And i knew everyone was thinking the same.

The sun shined down on the new paint that covered the house, it was a beautiful shade of blue and looked clearly amazing. All i could smell was the salt water from the beach nearby, the wind blew a nice gust of warm air over my body and made me smile. "Lets go inside" my dad walked up from behind us and put the key in the door. I step in, and see the chandelier shining from above me, the house was glowing, showing that it has just been cleaned. "Wow" I say, smiling. I look over at my sister, and sprint up the stairs, Lily following me from behind. We search upstairs, and i chose a room that was probably double the size of my bedroom from back home. Lily chose a room that  was exactly the same as mine, and was across the hall.

I grabbed my phone from my pocket and looked at it, quietly hoping maybe someone would send me a message, which i knew by past experience, was never going to happen. I look around my new room, and smile, I already loved it here, and i definitely love the view from my bedroom window, which was the beach. "This is great!" i hear Lily scream. I run across the hall "What's great?"  I ask, looking at her. She flips her shoulder length curly blonde hair over her shoulder, and i do the same with my long straight brown hair. "Everyone keeps texting me!" She brags, sitting on a chair that i guess just appeared in her room. I nod, and walk back out.

Me and Lily used to be unpopular, and nerdy. We loved books, and hanging out with each other, and studying. But then Lily started caring about her appearance and started asking for new clothes and new makeup, which she got. She soon became popular and I didn't. Sure, i care about my appearance, but definitely not as much as her.
