The morning for the first day of school came quicker then Terra thought after her midnight check up with her creatures, glad to see they are all well, it was only a couple of hours later she woke up to feed them, getting dressed and grabbing her school books to put in her 'Muggle Worthy' section, she left the common room, Lulu hidden away in her robe pocket, she headed to room not that far from the Great Hall, looking at a piece of paper her Grandfather gave her on her birthday were instructions, telling her where she can go into her case without worrying of anyone finding out her secret. She entered a decent size room with small staircase for the entrance, it looked like a spare supply closet, several wooden heavily dusted shelves on one side of the stone wall, it had a tall narrow window to its right. She looked around smiling, picturing her Grandfather as a young student hiding away studying about magical creatures, even his friend Leta who became close during their time at Hogwarts.
Terra spotted an envelope on a tiny wooden stool addressed to her, she opens the letter and started to read.
Dear Miss Scamander,
This room as I'm sure you have been told is where you'll do your duties to your magic creatures, if there is anything you need, simply just leave a note on the wooden stool and a member from the Kitchen Staff will pop by and do the task for you, getting food, supplies or other things for your creatures.
Hope your first day at school goes well.
Sincerely Prof Dumbledore
After knowing where to go, Terra heads to the Great Hall for breakfast, on the way she heard a few students where gossiping about a flying car that crashed into the Whomping Willow, she had no idea what was going on, by the time she entered the Great Hall, she spotted Harry and Ron with Hermione, she heads towards, glad to see her friends.
"Morning," Terra greeted sitting next to Hermione.
"Good morning Terra," Hermione replied with a smile before going back to reading.
"Hi Terra," Harry said.
"Hi," said Ron, trying to find the end of the Spellotape roll.
"So, why is there a rumour about a flying car?" Terra asked as she dished out a bowl of porridge.
Harry told her how the barrier to the Platform closed on him and Ron making them miss the train, then Ron came up with the idea of using the Weasley's Car to get to Hogwarts. Harry mentioned to Terra that before a House Elf named Dobby, appeared in his bedroom one night at Privet Drive to tell him to not come back to Hogwarts, that something bad is going to happen.
"That's weird, I never heard of the barrier closing suddenly," Terra muttered. "And the House Elf would not leave he's master's house with permission or unless it was an order, but why?"
"Your guess is as good as mine," Harry replied.
Ron had finally found the end of the tape and rolled it around his broken wand, it did not look the best, but its better...somewhat.
"Say it, I'm doomed," he said to Harry.
"You're doomed," Harry repeated.
"Hi Harry," a small squeaky voice said, then a flash a light, Terra blinked several times from that surprise. "I'm Colin Creevey, I'm in Gryffindor too."
