"No way..." I trailed off, my eyes widened as she took notice of me; her sharp face scowling.

"I rather skip the formalities," she gestured me off with her hand. I clenched my fists and glared at her. Does she have no remorse!?

"Hunter J! That salamencite does not belong to you." Sycamore called out beside me. The pokemon hunter raised an eyebrow.

"I'm merely putting it into better use. You won't see any real power by just analyzing it." Hunter J casually played with the stone with her fingers, admiring its shape.

"We'll use force then, Garchomp use dragon claw!" Sycamore called out. Garchomp sprang out of nowhere, and shot up into the air with his claws extended.

"Salamence dodge, then aerial ace!" Hunter J jumped off her salamence.

Salamence casually veered from the dragon claw and plunged Garchomp into the ground.

"Dragon pulse!" The Salamence flipped backwards into the air and fired his attack.

"Glaceon use mirror coat!" I commanded. Glaceon leaped into the dragon pulse, successfully blocking the attack from Garchomp.

"Send it back to Salamence!" Glaceon reflected the dragon pulse and created a shock wave back into the majestic dragon. Salamence grunted in pain, but quickly shook off the damage.

"Thanks May," Sycamore smiled at me, I gave him a thumbs up before returning to the match.

"Garchomp, follow up with dragon rush!" Sycamore commanded. Garchomp sprung above Salamence. Blue energy released from Garchomp surrounded him in shape of a dragon. He tackled into Salamence's back, crushing his opponent into the ground.

"Great Job Garchomp!" Sycamore called as Garchomp landed smoothly on the ground beside Glaceon.

"Salamence get up now," Hunter J ordered. Her dragon shook his head from the damage and rose back into the air. Her Salamence let out a menacing roar, its eyes full of anger.

"It survived a direct dragon rush!?" I stood there aghast

"It's time to see this power into action. Salamence! Mega Evolve!" Hunter J's hidden keystone reacted the salamencite. Salamence's appearance began to transform.

I saw an opening, "Glaceon, use-"

"Don't call out attack!" Sycamore hastily interjected. I stopped my command in confusion.

"Why!? We have an opening!?" I hissed impatiently.

"The energy from mega evolution is stronger than any pokemon move! Your attack will just bounce off!" He explained. I stood this in slight disbelief before scowling at this implication.

"Mega Salamence, come forth!" Hunter J bellowed. Mega Salamence appeared on the field, the mega evolution symbol blazing before it. His new shaped now resembles a fighter jet plane. The dragon let out a mighty battle cry. I almost lost my balance from its roar.

"We'll play it your way then." Sycamore hissed, activating his keystone, "Garchomp, mega evolve!" Garchomp transformed into its Mega version, standing against Mega Salamrnce.

Sycamore face to me, his voice becoming softer, "May, take cover. I don't want you to continue in this fight." I opened my mouth to argue, but the professor gave me a hard look; knowing full-well of my dilemma. I lowered my eyes, begrudgingly agreeing. Rallying my pokemon, we hurried to the sidelines for cover. Sycamore shifted to faced Hunter J, his eyes full of anger and determination.

"Use dragon rush!" Sycamore thrusted his hand forward. The shark shot up into the air with a dragon rush at Mega Salamence.

"Mega Salamence, use aerial ace to dogged Mega Garchomp!!" Hunter J ordered.
