Ren slowly regained consciousness, his head pounding as he became aware of his surroundings. His body felt heavy, his limbs stiff, and his mind was clouded with confusion. He tried to move, only to find his arms and legs tightly chained to a cold, unforgiving chair. His vision gradually cleared, and as the world around him came into focus, he noticed two figures standing nearby.

Doulos. That damn bastard. Ren's eyes narrowed as he muttered under his breath, his voice hoarse, "Damn bastard should've killed him when I had the chance."

He then turned his gaze to the other figure—Kaiser. A strange sense of déjà vu washed over Ren as if he had been in this situation before. His chest tightened with frustration. What do they hope to achieve anyway?

With his dark aura and sinister presence, Kaiser finally spoke, his voice cutting through the silence. "Well, Ren, since that's your name, you need to shape up. You're the heir of the future king of this world!"

Ren's lips twisted into a wry grin despite the pain in his head. "Hey, old fart, how about you shut up? I have a headache."

Kaiser's expression darkened, and his hand clenched into a fist. His tone grew colder, more venomous. "Oh, I'm sorry your father wasn't around to teach you some damn manners."

Ren's eyes flicked to Doulos, who stood off to the side, seemingly unfazed by the exchange. But Doulos couldn't stay silent for long. He stepped forward, his voice calm yet tinged with authority. "Kaiser! You must not speak to the heir that way. If Yoruzen finds out you said that..."

Kaiser let out a mocking laugh, cutting him off. "Is Yoruzen here now? No? Unless you're gonna tell him?" Kaiser's piercing gaze locked onto Doulos, his words sharp as a blade. "That's what I thought."

Doulos paused, his jaw tightening, before he reluctantly stepped back, clearly suppressing his frustration. The tension between them hung thick in the air, but Ren, exhausted from the pain and confusion, couldn't help but notice the deeper conflict between Kaiser and Doulos. It was clear there was more to this than just him being chained up.

With a slight grunt, Ren leaned his head back, his mind swirling with thoughts of betrayal and power plays. So I'm the heir now, huh? This world, this twisted game, it's all been orchestrated from the start. He clenched his fists against the chains, eyes hardening with resolve. No matter what they throw at me, I'm going to destroy everything in my path.

But for now, he was stuck in this room, chained and helpless. The stakes had never been higher, and Ren was more determined than ever to break free from this twisted fate.Yoruzen walked into the room with a commanding presence, his footsteps echoing ominously against the cold stone floor. His eyes, sharp and calculating, scanned the room briefly before landing on Ren, who remained defiantly chained to the chair. Kaiser and Doulos stood to the side, ready to respond, but it was Yoruzen's attention that Ren felt most acutely.

"What's all this commotion?" Yoruzen's voice was smooth, but it carried an undeniable authority.

Kaiser, unfazed, stepped forward with an air of confidence. "Nothing, Your Highness. Ren's just showing some disrespect, that's all."

Yoruzen's gaze never left Ren. He took a few slow steps forward, the air growing heavier with each movement. "Is that so?" Yoruzen's voice dropped, but there was no mistaking the edge of irritation in it.

Ren, still struggling against the chains, didn't flinch. He met Yoruzen's eyes with a cold, unwavering stare. "Yes."

Yoruzen stopped in front of him, studying him for a long moment. There was something almost predatory in his expression, his lips curling into a thin smile. "Ah, that look in your eyes..." His tone darkened slightly, and he leaned in closer. "I don't like it."
