Spending Time with Tomioka | Part I

"Wait, you want me to what?"
[Y/n] stopped on her tracks, she was holding a calm yet blank stare on her face. She looked at the person on his knees by her door room. Tomioka.

"I'm inviting you... to come and eat something. Shinobu is not available at this moment..."

'And the other Hashira wouldn't accept your invite.'

A small sigh escape her chest. She looked over the paper and ink on her table. She was writing one letter to The head master of the hashiras...

"... fine."
She could hear a low yet almost inaudible gasp from the hashira. [Y/n], focus her eyes back at the paper, placing her pen on the side.

"I'll go change. Wait outside."
She didn't even waited for his answer, before a tendril appear from her Kimono and slam the door on his face.

'A dinner time with Tomioka... Shinobu would probably hate me more... good.'

Outside, Tomioka felt a small sense of relief. Yes, he could have asked Tanjiro to go with him... but for some reason, wouldn't hurt try to talk to Muzan.

Walking to the Butterfly mansion, Tomioka waited. His eyes lowly went to look up, seeing the moon.

Seconds turning to minutes and soon, Hours.

"Ara, Ara. Tomioka-san."
The voice of Shinobu made him snap his head to look at her.

"Shinobu."

"Ara, were you waiting for me?"
She smiled at him.

"Ah, actually-"

"He was waiting for me, Hashira."
The sudden voice of [y/n] made Shinobu tense and grip on her Katana. Both turn to look at the Demon... only to both feel their hearts beat fast.

"Sorry for making you wait. I thought taking a human form, wouldn't raise any suspicious."
[Y/n] walk up to Tomioka, seeing a small light on his eyes before she looked back at Shinobu, also seeing her with almost her mouth open.

"Good night to you, Shinobu."
[Y/n] spoke, taking a step closer to Tomioka.

Shinobu, on the other hand, didn't got angry or disgusted. She could only stare at [y/n]'s face, a small pit form on her belly.

"We must go. It was nice seeing you, Insect Hashira."
[Y/n] said, seeing Tomioka giving Shinobu a nod before start to walk, with [y/n] start to follow after him.

For a second, [y/n] looked back and still saw Shinobu staring at them, her face holding a calm yet confused expression.

[Y/n] could only hope she haven't made Shinobu angry... too bad for her, she did something far worse.

Walking around the city gave [y/n]... a really discomfort feeling. Being away from society for a long time... made [y/n] get uncomfortable around humans. The noises, the smell... the blood.

[Y/n] instinctively took a few steps ahead, managing to caught up with Tomioka. Wrapping her arms around his left one, she look around.

Her eyes seem to change back to normal and soon to those slit cat like eyes.

Tomioka stared at [y/n] for a second, but didn't pull his arm away. They both soon enter a Ramen Shop.

"Hello Tomioka and Shi- oh..."
The person behind the wood table looked at [y/n], but soon smiled at her.

"My, my, inviting others? That's new. Who is it?"

Before Tomioka could speak, [Y/n] managed to Cut him off.

"[Y/n]... Hanamori."
She said, changing her monotonous tone to a shy and happy one.

She dragged Tomioka to a table and sat across him. A small fake smile lay across her face.

"[Y/n]? Hanamori?"
Tomioka ask, while [y/n] nod.

"Yes, it's was my human name... one of many."
She said to him, looking down her hands.

A small awkward silence lay between them.
