1.48 - First Road Trip to RAW

It was a bright Monday morning, and the energy around the House Storm/Martinez was electric. Jade, Bayley, Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, Cora Jade, and Roxanne Perez were preparing for their first road trip together to RAW, but this time there was a notable difference: Jade was no longer the NXT Women's Champion. The loss still stung a bit, but she had taken it in stride, knowing that she was stepping into an even bigger chapter of her career on the main roster.

As everyone loaded into the van, Jade stood outside, holding her phone and mentally running through the plan she'd put together for the trip.

"Alright, ladies, we've got a solid drive ahead of us, and if we're going to survive this road trip together, we need a game plan," Jade said, her tone playful but with her usual touch of authority.

Cora perked up immediately, bouncing on her heels. "I already know what I'm doing! DJ duty, right?"

Jade smirked, shaking her head with amusement. "You've got it, Cora. But remember—no crazy stuff. We need a good mix, not just your punk playlists."

Cora gave a mock pout. "Aww, come on, Jade. You'll love my punk vibes! But fine, I'll throw in some classics for you guys."

Bayley chuckled from the side, leaning casually against the van. "I trust you, Cora. Just don't make me regret giving you the aux."

Cora grinned, pulling out her phone, ready to curate the perfect playlist. "You won't. This trip's soundtrack is going to be iconic."

Jade turned her attention to IYO next. "IYO, you're in charge of navigation. You've got the route?"

IYO nodded, already tapping through the GPS on her phone. "Yes, I'll keep us on track. No wrong turns."

Roxanne, sitting on the back bumper of the van, raised her hand eagerly. "What about me, Jade? What's my role?"

Jade smiled at her enthusiasm. "Roxanne, you're in charge of snacks. Make sure we don't run out of fuel for the trip. It's going to be a long one, and I don't want anyone getting hangry."

Roxanne gave a playful salute. "You got it. Snacks are my specialty."

"Drinks?" Dakota asked with a smirk, already knowing what was coming next.

Jade pointed at her. "Exactly. You're handling drinks. And not just soda. Keep it balanced—water, energy drinks, and whatever keeps us going."

Dakota shot a playful wink. "Consider it done. No one's going thirsty on this trip."

Finally, Jade turned to Bayley, who was already sitting in the passenger seat, waiting for Jade to take the wheel. "And as for us," Jade said, slipping into the driver's seat, "we're handling the driving. I'll take the first shift, and you can keep me company in the front."

Bayley smiled, putting on her sunglasses. "Sounds good to me. Plus, I can make sure we're all good with the playlist and that everyone's doing their job."

Jade shook her head with a grin. "Of course, you'll be supervising."

As everyone settled in, Jade started the engine, feeling a sense of excitement about their first road trip together as a team. While the loss of her NXT Women's Championship had left a void, being with Bayley and their new combined crew—Damage Ctrl and House of Havoc—was a reminder that there were bigger and better things ahead.

"Alright, ladies," Jade called out, glancing at the rearview mirror, "let's hit the road. Next stop—RAW."

Cora wasted no time and immediately plugged her phone into the van's sound system, the opening beats of their first track filling the space.

"Get ready for the best playlist of your lives!" Cora shouted over the music, causing the group to laugh and shake their heads.

As the van rolled out of the driveway and onto the open road, Jade could feel the weight of her future on her shoulders, but in a good way. Her journey had just begun, and with Bayley by her side and this new dynamic team supporting her, she knew she was stepping into an exciting new chapter.

"Let's make this a good one," Bayley said, leaning back in her seat and turning to Jade with a smile. "Big things are coming, Jade."

Jade smiled back. "I know. Let's just enjoy the ride."

And so, they drove off into the distance, a new era ahead of them, ready for whatever the road to RAW had in store.
