My mom was explaining the Trojan war to me now. She explained in great detail how the soldiers hid inside the large horse and won the battle. It's funny how people will eagerly accept a gift but not question what lies beyond the wrapping paper. I, however, questioned everything. After some work sheets on what I've learned and a little Greek mythology on the subject, I fell asleep. I just wished I didn't though.

I "woke up" to a hazy fog surrounding me. When I stood up I realized I was stuck in a maze filled with all my memories. The past made me want to cry... I didn't want to look at that part of my life, so I closed my eyes and wished to disappear. When I opened my eyes I was standing in the middle of a cross road and a truck was speeding down the street, coming at me full force. I stood there rooted to the ground and clenched my fists preparing for death. Death never came though. It was as if I was a ghost... Invisible... Like I actually dissapeared.

I was shocked, the one time the universe listens to me and its when I'm about to die. Sighs,"can anyone hear me? Can you see me?!" I shouted at the top of my lungs but my voice came out raspy. Welp that's what happens when you barely speak for 13 years. I walked up to someone and whispered in their ear but its seems all he heard was wind blowing because he just went back to what he was doing. Then I stuck my finger in his ear and he shivered, I had to laugh at that. Man I wish he could've seen his face. That's when something strange happened, he looked at me, as if he could see me and yelled,"get away from me!" I looked at his eyes and saw what his eyes were reflecting. My face was his face. I stood there gaping until he slapped me, I fell unconscious and when I woke up, I wished I didn't.

I woke up to a familiar feeling. I was walking the street and everyone moved out of my way. I was dressed in rags and I was being ostracized. I felt the most aganizing pain when kids pummeled me with stones, their parents watching the whole seen. I almost cried when a huge rock hit my head and I bled. I cringed at the pain and the sight of the parents and the kids laughing. I ran to the nearest cave and just layed there. I thought I would bleed dry, but the bleeding stopped along with the pain, and it felt like I was healing. I layed there until I fell asleep.

When I rubbed my eyes to rid me of the sleep I had an urge to look at the moon and howl, so I did just that. For minutes I just howled until I heard footsteps and ran back inside to the darkest corner. Then I heard the same voice from every one of my dreams and he spoke," I see you." But I couldn't see him, in all of my dreams I never did.

This time I really woke up and I was still on the couch with my mom still telling the story. What felt like hours was only 5 minutes and I felt eyes staring daggers at my head. I turned around to see my dad with a hurt expression on his face which he quickly covered up with hate, but I smiled none the less cause I know he cares. He scoffed and left the room, I hit my tongue on the roof of my mouth. My mom said, "lesson over." I quickly fled to my room and sat on my bed. Before sleep took over once again I murmered," I love you dad." Then I "woke up" to that familiar fog.
