Why me?-chapter3

I walked home alone listening to my music and thinking about my day. A black convertable camaro pulls up. Not knowing who it was I instinctively walk away from it. I look to see who is in the car and see Hayden. He calls out " Hey Lucy do you need a ride?" I come closer and politely say "I'm almost home". He smiles that awesome smile with his gorgeous dimples and says "It's fine". He got out of the car and walks around to my side. Every step closer my heart beats faster. He opens the passenger seat and says " vous s'il vous plaît laissez-moi vous prendre pour sonic alors?" Which means "will you allow me to take you to sonic then" in French. When he speaks French he knows I'm like putty in his hands and he just smiles. Knowing I can't help it and that he will most likely follow me home, I accept his offer and climb in his car. Once we're driving he turns on the radio. The song "What makes you beautiful" by One Direction comes on and Hayden sings the whole thing word for word pointing at me during the chorus "You don't know you're beautiful, that's what makes you beautiful !". Which of course causes me to blush like crazy. I blush all the time and I can't help it, which drives me CRAZY! Exspecialy around Hayden. I've had a crush on him for years, but I can't tell Stacy or she will go nuts ! I put my hair down and let it blow in the wind. We get to sonic and order then we go play on the playground. I'm on the monkey bars when all off a sudden I hear Hayden calling me. "Lucy,come here" he says. I walk over to the slide and he says "Lucy, I'm stuck". I laugh then try to pull him out of the slide without pulling off his pants. After awhile I have him halfway out then our orders came."Our order is here" I tell him. "My wallet is in my pocket get it then pay for it and come pull me out", he says. I awkwardly reach for his wallet and pay for our stuff. I then go back to tugging him out of the slide. I can almost see his shoulders and almost have him out when someone says "having fun there Lucy?" I whirl around and see Stacy glaring at me. I see the anger in her eyes and quickly try to explain. "He was giving me a ride home and we stopped by sonic, and he got stuck in the slide. It is not a date I promise"I say hurriedly. "Oh I know it's not a date because if you we're on a date that would mean you're not my friend, get in my car and i'll take you home." Stacy says. "I could've taken you home." She tells me. "I asked you to and you said that you had to go get your boyfriend." I say defensively. " I saw you talking to Hunter " Stacy says smiling at me. "Ya he wanted my number." I say blushing. We turn on the radio and start thinking. She drops me off at my house. I unlock the door and go straight to the kitchen for a snack. I get out some Oreos , open them put a Reeses peanut buttercup in the middle and dip them in chocolate. I let them cool while I eat some chips. I grab the chips and the Oreo remix and take them into the TV room. Every thing is silent in my huge house because nobody is ever home. To stop the awkwardness between myself I turn on the TV.After a couple of hours my gets home. "Luce, where are you at?"she calls. "I'm in the TV room"I yell in response."Are you eating in there again?"she says."Ummmmm,maybe" I say as I run to put the chips and evidence back. She beats me to the kitchen and looks at me."It's the first day back and your already breaking the rules" she says in a mocking tone. "Hahaha"I say sarcastically."I need to talk to you though" she says. "How would you feel about going to Russia in two weeks ?". She says .I look at her and say"We just got back! Russia sounds cool and everything, but if you're going in two weeks I'd rather stay!"I go straight to bed after that even though its only six and I haven't had dinner. As I'm laying in bed I remember all of a sudden "OMG I left Hayden stuck in the slide!"
