Me: OPTIMUS PRIME!!!!
Optimus looks up.
Optimus: What do you want, human?
I grin evilly.
Me: You have a dare!
Optimus's optics widen.
Optimus: No.
I roll my eyes.
Me: Prime, don't be a baby--
Optimus: Grabs a wrench
Me: What the-- are you going to pull a Ratchet? Don't you dare pull a Ratchet on me!
Optimus sighs
Optimus: Violence is not the answer....So what is this dare the humans have asked of me?
I smile smugly.
Me: Go up to Vehicon 5T3V3, or Steve, and say, "The time has come....execute order 66."
Optimus raises an optic ridge.
Optimus: Weird request, but okay.
On the Nemesis....
Optimus was searching for Steve, carefully treading through the Nemesis. At last, he found the commander in the throne room, Megatron strangely absent. Optimus brushed it off, he was probably on a mission. The rest of Team Prime would deal with him if they found him anyway.
And it made this dare a whole lot less awkward.
Optimus: Vehicon Steve!
Steve turns, and, seeing Optimus, immediately points his gun.
Steve: Optimus Prime!
Optimus: I'm not here to hurt you, I'm here to tell you something.
He places a servo on Steve's shoulder plate.
Steve, utterly confused: What--?
Optimus looks at him with a somber, but determined look in his optics.
Optimus: The time has come, Commander Steve. Execute order 66.
He then leaves through a ground bridge.
Steve stares long after he leaves.
"Yep, he definitely has officially lost it."
MEANWHILE
Me: So did you do it? What was his reaction?
Optimus: Yeah, I did it. I think he thinks I've lost it.
I nod.
Me: I see why he thought you lost it, I mean, you're an Autobot.
Then I run before he processes what I said.
Optimus realizes what I said, and starts chasing after me.
Optimus: Hey! Get back here.
Me, while running: Thank you to Assas1n13 for the dare!!!
