Hide and Seek

Rules, regulations, and the Father's wrong-doings.

A bead of sweat drips down my temple.

I decide my fate.

A knife in

a shaky hand.

After everything that has happened,

I know that I will be damned.

Rules, regulations, the Mother's death.

Mother Mary! Goddess Durga!

Soon  is my last breath.

Blood has been drawn and it wasn't mine.

Hair has been cut,

and I know everything won't be fine.

A blade has been shed and please don't let me die.

Rules, regulations, the Son's first breath.

I hide behind a mask.

Cover my hair and cover my mouth.

Rebellion they call it,

freedom it is.

I will never submit to the

life of a righteous woman.

Rules, regulations, the Blade's been drawn.

A man I pretend to be,

to save my family.

Tonight I fight.

Tomorrow I die gradually.

An unknown murderer,

a game to be played.

A secret that has a price to  be paid.

Hide and seek is a game she plays.
