POV: What if Leonard knew about Amy's Pregnancy Early?

I stared at the setting sun, thinking about Amethyst.

How could she leave me just like that? Didn't I really matter to her? Wala lang ba talaga ako sa kanya? She doesn't care about me, even one bit?

I sighed to myself and sipped my drink.

"Leonard"

Nilingon ko ang nagsalita, it was Rafael, kasama niya sila Diorr, I managed to smile at them, hindi na ako nag-abala pang lumapit dahil malapit na rin naman sila.

"Tito!" Haze merrily greeted at saka nagmano sa akin.

I ruffled his hair and pulled him on my lap.

They all sat down, pare-parehong tahimik habang nag-uusap kami ni Haze na may sarili kaming mundo, bago siya nagpaalam at tumakbo sa mommy niya.

"Feeling the bitter side of love?" Warren asked.

Hindi ako umimik pero matalim ko lang siyang binalingan.

"Hindi raw tutulad kay Diorr, pero tingnan mo't nagpapakalugmok" Zeinn said.

"Nakakatawa, grabe 'yung suporta, ramdam na ramdam ko, oo" sarkastiko kong saad at saka uminom.

They all chuckled.

"Benedict's men amd Levin's men are trying to fish information about you" Diorr then said.

"To make amends of what their father did?"

"You know they're not gonna try that, alam naman nating lahat kung gaano katutol ang tatlong iyon sa gawain ng tatay nila" Zeinn said.

I sighed, he's right, Benedict, Levin and Ashro are righteous and won't bend even at their father's will, ni hindi nga sila gaanong lumalaban sa kaso sa tatay nila, they were just making sure nothing will be twisted.

"What kind of information about me are they fishing?"

"Just your location and well being, norhing more" Joseph said.

Why would they asked about that? Unless...

"I know what you're thinking, I know that look" Rafael said.

"What look?" I looked at him questioning.

"Don't deny it, kilala ko na 'yang mukha mo, you're thinking she might be asking for your whereabouts and how you are, that her brothers are helping her"

I glared at him and shook my head, disproving the truth he is talking about.

"Huwag ka nang magkaila, pare-pareho lang naman tayo kapag na-in love" Warren said while looking out the setting sun.

Kaagad namang nag-almahan ang mga kaibigan namin, Diorr chuckled, halatang kilalang-kilala niyang mga nagsisinungaling ang umaalma.

It was the truth, though, we were all the same when in love.

I guess this is my first.

I've seen my friends being devoted to their women, how Diorr patiently waited for Italy to sort her feelings for him and then prioritze her and their unexpected baby, marrying her not because she was pregnant but because he wants her tied to him.

I looked at Rafael, who is currently protesting on how he's not like that. But spent years of his life, searching for his runaway bride and not budging from it, even defying his family just to look for his bride.

Zeinn, who thought he'd only fall for one woman and ended up being head over heels for someone he cannot have but still is trying his best to stay away even if it seemed he's not doing so.
