I wait for so long
For the pain to end
For the screams to cease fire
Echoing inside my head
Yet still it continues
Beating like war drums
A touch from a angel
Did not cure my symptoms
The doctor whose mind
Knows every tool
To cure the sickened brains
Of youths could not cure the pain
I wait for so long
Losing my sanity
Where reality mixes with shrouded dreams
I wait for so long
For the day when I have had enough
That is until now
The words hurt
The screams continue to break my reality
But my eyes are crystal clear
For all those years I have felt alone
Where in vain
For so many exist
Who know misery beyond compare
Who need a hand to help them up
Realizing that cures are not instant
That pain will not cease from one touch
My life belongs to me
A warmth to give to all those who need it
I wait no longer
A purpose birthed into a world of gorgeous chaos
Existing for the sole purpose for others
To help them catch every star
They have ever wished on
When they waited for so long

Realities Downfall
PoetryA collection of poems of mine. I can not express how dark reality can be or how terrifying humans can become. These poems are to express that pain, and hope from a man who doesn't feel human.
