I was so ready to give up and walk out, but something kept me from leaving. I had told my dad that I was going to be fine, and that's what I'm going to do, think of the positives. New life, place to refresh, stupid jerks making fun of me! I shuddered. Still with questions and screaming coming from all angles around me, a middle aged lady came and the girls went. I was shocked. Then a thought from the back of my popped up to the front and I quickly spat out, " you must be Professor Edwin, right?" She nodded her head and in front of everyone, who were now staring and eavesdropping on our conversation, she politely said back, " welcome Emily Kale, the Presidents daughter".
"Not happy, not happy! I JUST WANTED ONE NORMAL DAY........ ONE!" I said aloud, of course, in my mind. Professor Edwin handed me a timetable and I put on a fake smile. Yay. The first bell rang and I considered that that was my signal of it's time to go. Following the timetable I was handed, it read that I had English first, my favourite subject. I rushed down the hall, just as the large amount of girls came back, and entered the class that was supposedly mine.
I sat down at a desk and slid my bag off of my shoulder and onto the floor beside me. Just as I expected, a boy came up to me, ( I also happened to notice the jersey he was wearing, he was a jock) and started whining like a baby about he always sits there and that no nerds allowed, or some crap like that. I looked up, he shut up, walked away and sat at the only spot now available, the front. Then the negatives came flowing back into my mind, what if I get made fun of, what if nobody likes me and starts thinking of me as a snob again? WHAT IF I GET CALLED ON BY THE TEACHER!?!?!?!! Then again I paced myself and didn't worry, but the thought was floating around, Like a fly that never leaves you or your food alone. The teacher walked in, as I expected, (once again), it was an old man, this was going to be a long day.
