ANGEL'S POV ~

Today is my 18th birthday, and I'm not too thrilled. My mom decided to throw my party at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, where I went for my 2nd birthday. As a kid, I loved that place, but I've grown way out of it. I begged her to plan it somewhere, but she said it was too late to change the plans. I guess it's not all that bad, I'll be seeing my family, but I still don't wanna go.

"Angel? Are you ready to go?" I turned to see my mom standing in my doorway. I looked back at myself in the mirror and let out a quiet sigh.

"Almost mom, I'll be out in a minute."

"Alright, Gracie and I will be in the car." My mom left my room. I stared at myself for awhile and picked up my brush, combing through my long violet hair. I loved my hair, I waited for years to get it dyed just the way I wanted it; violet/redish hair, black bangs, and blue tips. I gently combed my hair over my left shoulder and watched it flow down to my stomach. I picked up my purple lipstick and carefully applied it to my lips. I looked at myself once more and this time, smiled. I didn't look half bad for once. I quickly grabbed my purse, shoving my phone in it.

I made my way outside and into the front seat of the car. I glanced at my mom that was now starting the car.

"Is dad coming?" I asked, practically knowing the answer already.

"No, I'm sorry. Your dad has to work late tonight, he said you two can go do something tomorrow." I sighed a bit and nodded, turning my attention to the world outside the car window. I cupped my face in my hand and propped my elbow on the handle of the door. This is gonna be a long drive.

~

We arrived at our destination. Gracie was sleeping silently in the back seat. My mom woke her up and she tiredly dragged herself behind us as we walked into the Pizzeria. The warm smell of pizza filled my nose and I almost drooled on the spot. A part of me was excited, for the pizza. There was a young man standing at a counter, kinda cute too. I felt my cheeks blush a bit, but it quickly went away. We walked up to the counter and the man didn't sound very friendly.

"Hello and welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria." He sang in a low tone. "Are you the Vasa family?"

"Yes." My mom answered.

"Great." he said sarcastically. "Fill this book out with your last name and number, Crystal will show you your table." He groaned a bit as if we were wasting his time. A part of me felt like he was acting so rude because he was hurt. I was tempted to ask, but that would be weird. Crystal smiled at us politely, his eyes shined as he talked.

"Right this was way, ladies." He sounded a lot more upbeat than the other man did. We followed behind him to our table. As we got closer I noticed the animatronics were updated from the last time i was here. Bonnie looked kinda scary with makeup. Isn't he a guy? If so, I feel bad for Bonnie and Chica was scaring the crap out of me. Why doesn't she have a beak? Freddy was okay, but if they changed him anymore, he'd look like a girl as well. Crystal pulled a chair out for me that was right in front of the animatronics, the chair looked like a throne.

"My queen, your throne awaits." He looked at me and chuckled quietly. I felt my cheeks burn and I knew I looked ridiculous. I smiled back at him shyly before sitting down quickly. My mom and Gracie sat on either side of me. Gracie looked exhausted. She let her head fall and it hit the table with a thud. I playfully poked her shoulder.

"Grace, you okay?" She mumbled something I couldn't understand. "What? I can't hear you." She lifted her head quickly with her eyes closed.

"Nicolas broke up with me and my life is over." She smashed her face on the table again. I rolled my eyes.

"You're so dramatic.." Grace lifted her head again and punched my shoulder.

"OW!" I went to go punch her back but my mom stopped me.

"ANGEL FAITH!" My mom yelled at me. I looked at her.

"Thanks for announcing my name to everyone, mom." I complained and looked down at the table.

"Don't make me spank you in front of everyone on your birthday." She told me. I greet my teeth, trying not to fight and just enjoy my time here.

My family had arrived, but I stayed quiet. I opened my presents all I got was clothes and guide for a Sonic videogame. I had to pretend I liked the gifts, since they weren't the greatest. We had finished eating and most of my family had already left. Gracie started to cry so she went to the car, so all that was left was my mom and I.

"I'm gonna use the washroom, then we'll leave after, okay?" My mom told me, I nodded in reply. I quickly pulled out my phone and went on Instagram and started stalking Markaplier. I was in the middle of watching on of his videos when I heard someone shout.

"SHIT!"

I looked up to see a man standing on the animatronic stage. I couldn't see his face very well because he was looking down at the floor. He looked frustrated and I noticed he dropped his wrench. My first instinct was to pick it up for him. I quickly raised from my chair and ran over to pick it up. I stood up and smiled as I looked at him. My heart sunk when he looked back at me. I froze. It's like I forgotten how to live. He's gorgeous. I stared into his eyes and he stared back. It was quiet, until someone's voice broke the silence.

"Uh, Vince, ya about done yet? I need your help back in the kitchen."

We both looked over at the man.

"Uh.. yeah Scott, just dropped my wrench." Vince looked at me and I realized I was staring at him and I shakily gave him the wrench. Our hands touch and I felt a spark. Probably just static.. or is it a sign? No that's dumb.

"Angel! C'mon!." I turned around to see my mom. I glanced over at Vince one more time.

"Uh.. bye." I mumbled and ran to my mom." She stared at me weird and I stared back.

"You okay?" my mom asked.

"Yeah, why?"

"Your face is really red, it looks like you're about the faint." I looked down, shyly. "Alright well, let's go."

My mom headed to the door and looked behind me, but Vince was already gone. I followed my mom and we got in the car. Gracie was quietly sobbing in the back seat. My mom pulled out of the driveway and I kept my eyes on the Pizzeria.

I guess it wasn't such a bad birthday after all.
