Good byes

I walked to school as normal. I went through the woods. I know it's a longer route but does it really matter, with the speed I can run at? I kept looking at the charm on my necklace. Then I heard something ~crunch crunch~ the leaves rustled. I turned my head quickly to face where the sound came from. I started sniffing the air.

"It's okay it's only me." Bleidd said as he stepped out from his hiding spot

"Hi." I said

"Hey." He responded

"Shouldn't you be on your way?" I asked him

"Yeah. I'm still upset at you. But I couldn't leave without saying good bye." He said with tears in his eyes

I hugged him and said....

"Remember it's not good bye forever. It's good bye for now." I said sadly he nodded

"I don't mean to interrupt." Said Ceri as she stepped out

"But you said you knew where rhydian is." She started

"Oh yeah. Well he's miles away." I told her

"How do I get to him?" She asked

"Um...erm.... Oh!" I started until I remembered the map/atlas in my backpack. I pulled it out

"Ok we're here." I said pointing towards the edge of the state of Maine.

"And he's all they way over here." I moved my finger to Scotland.

"It could take you days to get there." I added

"Don't worry though I can find you a pack close by there. I will take you." I said

"Thank you so much." Ceri said

"Yes thank you." Bleidd smiled

"After school though. I have to make sure the humans don't get suspicious about me." I explain to them. Technically that's not true but I want to go to school since it's the last day. Plus I need something normal to happen this month.

They nodded not wanting to put their kind in danger.

Then I run off figuring I might only have like 4 minutes left to get to class.

I walk in the school with 2 minutes to spare. 'Yes. New record!' I thought. I entered class. I went to my usual spot, behind my betas but beside the window. I sat down not giving a crew of what the teacher said. Knowing he was just probably gonna say we were going to do something special today.

------------time skip to lunch-------

I got up and went to the cafeteria. I saw Cindy and she walked up to me.

C(Cindy): Hey can I tell you something?

CJ(me): Yeah sure!

She guides me outside and into the woods.

CJ: So what's up?

C: I wanted to tell you thank you. For everything. Especially for this opportunity.

CJ: Your leaving today aren't you?

C: yes (shyly and quietly)

CJ: That's great! What time you leaving?

C: Now actually.

CJ: oh..... Well I'll miss you.

C: I'll miss you too.

With that I how her hug. She runs off then stops and turns back. She howls a loud howl. I return the howl then we hear another howl. We just smile since we know it's Jonathan. Then she turns back and keeps running. Until I can see we no longer I turn back to school.
