Lost in the Chat

Ava opened the chat and was surprised to see Apollo's response to her snap from the night before.
His reply, "I was there" .
confused her. She tried to recall what she had sent him , and then she remembered
~her snap had said, "No one is awake to talk to me."

Ava's confusion stemmed from the fact that she had sent the snap late at night, and Apollo had replied at the same time.
However, she had already fallen asleep and didn't see his reply until the next morning.

Ava's confusion turned to embarrassment as she hastily sent a message,
"Where were you?"
However, before Apollo could respond, she recalled her snap and felt silly for replyingfast. She quickly deleted the message, hoping Apollo wouldn't see it.

Ashamed of her impulsive behavior, Ava realized she was clueless about how to interact with her crush. In a bold, yet awkward, move, she sent another message:
"Don't text me. I already like you. If you reply to my snaps like that, what would I do?"

Ava's bold confession, caught Apollo off guard. He responded with a humble question,
"Why do you like me? I'm not that good-looking."

Ava's reply, though sincere, was awkwardly phrased,
"My friends also told me that you're not that good-looking, but for me, you're the best."

Apollo was taken aback by her candid response, which, though well-intentioned, highlighted her friends' opinions about his appearance.
