{8 years later}
Dead silence. That all it was when she got home. No one asked how she was, how her day was. She just walked past her step sister and step mom up to her room to work on UNI homework.
It was then we she wished it was dead silent. As soon as she would get into her room and take out all of her homework, her step mum would come in and nag nag nag about everything. Her sister would call her a whore and an insult to girls. Her dad was never around because of his business trips.
Nia had thought many times about killing herself. She knew that that wasn't the right thing to do and frankly she could never do that to herself. Rather she would run away. Take a plane to the United States.
No one cared about her. She didn't really have any friends. All her family members were distant or obviously didn't care about her. She came up with a plan.
She would go to the train station and buy a ticket to London. Then from London, she would fly to America. She lots and lots of money saved up for the trip. She didn't exactly know how she would get along in the US, though she wasn't just staying in the hell she called life.
