You stepped outside, the icy night air brushing against your skin as you closed the door behind you.
The dim lights from the resort barely illuminated the path, but there he was, leaning casually against the golf cart, the tires barely visible in the shadows.

You blinked, trying to make sense of what you were seeing.

"Where the fuck did you get a
whole golf cart from?"
You raised an eyebrow, your voice a mixture of curiosity and disbelief.

"Borrowed it."

"Borrowed it? What the hell, Daisuke?" You snickered, arms folding across your chest as you looked him up and down, trying to figure out if he was serious.

With a carefree grin, he patted your head lightly, as if to reassure you that everything was under control.
"Trust me, it's fine. Let's go,"
he said, stepping to the side and gesturing for you to hop into the passenger seat.

You hesitated for a moment, glancing at the cart, then back at him.
His playful expression made it hard to resist. Finally, you climbed in, smoothing your clothes as you slid into the seat.

His hand brushed against yours momentarily, as a soft laugh escaped
his lips.

"Ready?"
He asked, his voice low but full of mischief.

"Yeah, as long as you don't get us
In trouble this time,"
you teased, though the excitement building in your chest couldn't be ignored.

"Yeah, but you wouldn't want it any other way, would you?"
he said, eyes glinting with playful confidence.

"I'm not sure if I'm ready for whatever this is,"
you replied, but deep down, you knew that with him, you were always ready.

As Daisuke revved the golf cart, the engine's hum blending with the sounds of the night, he pushed the pedal down, and the cart jerked forward.
The breeze rushed past, the wind tugging at your hair. It felt freeing, like the world slowed down just for the two of you.

Laughter bubbled out of you, the absurdity of the situation hitting you again. You couldn't help but feel a sense of euphoria, the rush of adrenaline mixing with the joy of being so close to Daisuke.

He occasionally glanced at you, his eyes twinkling with mischief and amusement, making your heart flutter every time his gaze met yours.

"Hold on tight,"
Daisuke called over the wind, the playful grin never leaving his face. His voice was light, carefree, but his eyes held something deeper—a genuine affection that made your chest tighten in the best way.

"Daisuke, I think you might be trying to kill us with this thing!"

"Don't worry! I got it, I swear!"
he said with a laugh, his voice soft but teasing.

He swerved the cart a little to one side, and you let out a small squeal,
gripping the seat for a moment as your laughter echoed through the night.
The sound of it was pure joy, and it felt like you had both left the rest of the world behind in that instant.

He turned the wheel again, speeding up, and you could feel the wind in your face more intensely now, whipping through your hair and stinging your cheeks, but it was exhilarating. Daisuke's hand shifted on the wheel, and you noticed the way his fingers tensed with the effort of staying steady while glancing at you every so often.
