Carson's POV
6:00 a.m.
I grab my phone and turn off "When I Get Home You're So Dead" by Mayday Parade. It was my alarm telling me to wake up because it was time to go to he...school. It's time to go to school.
I grab my phone and unplug it from the charger and bring it downstairs with me to grab breakfast. I fixed myself a bowl of cereal and ate it quickly, then went back upstairs to get ready.
Even though I want to wear my Blink 182 shirt, I grab a pink shirt from Forever 21. Even though I want to wear ripped black skinny jeans, I grab light skinny jeans. Even though I want to grab a pair of worn out converse, I grab black flats.
I set my shoes by my bedroom door and pull off my dads old 38 Special shirt and then took off my pajama pants. I put on my jeans and pulled my shirt on, sighing as I looked at myself in the mirror.
I made my way to my bathroom that I shared with my older sister when she was home. I brushed my teeth and my hair. Then I grabbed some foundation and powder and applied both to my face. Next I grabbed light eyeshadow and brushed it across my eyelids, following with a thin line of eyeliner and finishing mascara.
I plugged in my flat iron into the outlet by my sink and put on some music as I waited for it to heat up. I sang along with Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana. Finally, I went and put on my shoes and left my room.
When I got downstairs I put all my folders and such in my backpack, making sure I had everything for the day. Then I grabbed my purse and my keys off the counter and left my house.
~at school~
I walked in the front doors, heading to my locker. I emptying all of my things into my locker and put my backpack in there, making sure to grab my phone and stuff it in my pocket. Then I walked over to my friend Brianna's locker where the rest of my friends were and began gossiping about who hooked up at what party and who got drunk and so on and so forth.
Eventually the first bell rang, signaling we had 4 minutes to get to class. I went to my first period and sat down in my seat with a smile on my face. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I'm going to a concert after school today so I'm super happy.
It was a band called Twenty Øne Piløts, and I've been a fan of their for quite awhile. I've listened to just about every one of their songs, and I love almost all of them.
I pushed the thoughts of the concert into the back of my head as the second bell rang. I started to get out my paper and a pencil... But then I realized I didn't have a pencil. I looked around worried because I don't have very many friends in this class, and the ones I do have I don't sit by because we would talk too much.
Shit.
I decided to grad tap the guy in front of me's shoulder. He turned around and I took in his appearance before saying anything.
He had longer dark brown hair and deep brown eyes. He was wearing a band shirt at the time, and it appeared to be an old rock band that I'd never heard of. He was also wearing dark wash skinny jeans and black vans. I have to say, he was pretty attractive, I can't believe I've never even noticed him before.
"Um, did you need something?" He asked.
"Oh um, yeah, do you have a pencil I can borrow?" I asked, still flustered by his looks. He just smiled and handed me a purple mechanical pencil and told me that I could keep.
I started taking notes about some author I couldn't care less about and let my mind wander to this guy in front of me.
God, I wish I knew his name.
Exactly as I thought that, the teacher asked a question. Without anyone raising their hand, she pointed to the man in front of me.
"Vic, do you know the answer?"
