~Chapter 10~

I really don't have much to say today other than hey,wassup, hello. Oh but today I'm going to try my writing style a little different so let me know if I should keep doing it this way or not. Lol but like always Happy readings!!!

~WEEK LATER~

It was around 1:43 in the morning when Cayla started to experience tremendous cramps in her lower abdomen area. She sat up in her dorm bed panting holding her stomach for comfort. She rubbed her stomach a little longer before laying back down to get some sleep.

A few minutes later she felt her insides drop as she felt liquid running down her legs and feeling a rush of pain over her. She screamed waking Amaria up telling her that it was time for baby peanut to come.

They got up and scribbled around the room getting the emergency bag for when this day would come. Cayla called Josh telling him it was time. They made there way to Amaria's car and warmed it up for a few seconds.

Amaria ran back into the college waking up the other girls telling them to come on. After 5 minutes everyone packed up in the jeep ariving as fast as they could to the emergency room.

Cayla sat in a wheel chair before they rushed her off to a room. Many emotions flooded her mind on what was about to happen in a couple of hours. She felt joy, pain, anxiety, and relief. Her baby was finally coming.

After about an hour of contractions Josh showed up and gave her a kiss. The nurses rushed him to the back so he could put on his scrubs. He washed his hands and did a silent prayer. He was finally getting a little boy.

It's like God was sending him another little angel that he so yearned for after his daughter died. He stepped out and took a deep breath before going back to the room to see the girls beside her encouraging her.

He went beside her and held her hand as she panted. " Josh tell them to get this baby out of me nowwww", she said breathing in and out. " Baby he's not quite ready to come yet. You have 5 more centimeters before being dilated."

She rolled her eyes and bucked her hips screaming. She tightened her grip on his hand and sighed as she calmed down again. The nurse rushed in and looked down at her. " I have a suggestion for you. You could get in the hot tub to make your contractions less intense. But when you get to 8 centimeters you have to come out and second stage will begin."

She shook her head yes vigiousily asking for Josh's help. He stood her up carefully and grabbed her hand as they made their way down the hall to the hot tub. She sat down in the little bath tub and sighed of relief. Josh took her hand and told her that he was going to be there through every step of the way.

He kissed her forehead and did breathing techniques with her that they learned from the childbirth classes. As her cervix started to stretch the nurse came back and told her it was time for active labor to begin. As she walked down the hall she could hear her heart beating through her chest. She was happy but scared at the same time because of the pain she heard about.

They laid her on the bed and the doctor came in to spread her legs. Amaria, Brittney, and Diamond stood right by her side telling her she could do it. "On the count of 3 push like you've never push before,"he said. She shook her head and took a deep breath. "1,2,3.. PUSHHH!!!" She pushed with all our might panting hard. "Your doing a good job Cayla keep it up", Diamond said.

"Again push on the count of three as hard as you can." The doctor stuck his fingers up her cervix checking to see if the babies head was coming. "1,2,3 PUSHHH!!!",the doctor yelled. " AHHHH," Cayla screamed as she felt her baby moving down her woman canel. It was like a stinging sensation spreading throughout her whole body. "Your almost there baby about 3 more pushes and we'll see his head.

After 10 minutes of pushing you could hear faint cries from the baby that was sticking out of Cayla's vagina. A nurse came over and unclogged the babies mouth and nose from mucus. "Okay Cayla you've done excellent so far. One more push and the baby will be completely out. On the count of 3 give me your best push but slowly so you won't tear your vagina flaps. Lmaoo. 1,2,3 PUSHHH!!!"

She pushed while the doctor slowly pulled the baby out. You could hear the baby cry out loudly. Cayla held the baby in her arms crying tears of joy. Her baby wailed until Josh took him out of her arms. She looked over at the two and started to cry again. As she was staring at her happy family she didn't realize that doctor had took out the babies placenta.

They gave her a couple stiches before taking the baby to make sure everything was okay. Since Cayla did a natural birth she could go home in a few hours. And if baby peanut was healthy he could go to. The nurse came back in with the baby wrapped in blankets. She asked the parents what they planned to name the baby. They both looked at each other and looked back at the nurse saying..... "Rylan Bradley Harris."

She wrote it down on his birth certificate and left the room. The girls got up and all went to the incabator surrounding him gushing and squeezing his hand. Amaria asked could she be the first to hold him since Cayla made her his god mother. She said yes and she picked him up without hesitation.

She went to a chair near by and held him. Amaria saw a little sparkle in his eye as he gushed over her. She chuckled. "He loves me you guys," everyone smiled at their little moment. "I love you sooo much Rylan, till words can't describe."she smiled while kissing him on his forehead.

The next day

Today they were finally able to take the baby back to the dorm. They couldn't take him last night because he was a little to skinny. He had to be fed a special formula until the next day. They wheeled Cayla out with her tiny baby in her hand. This was going to be a good experience, but a difficult one at the same time.

She had to manage having a baby and focusing on schoolwork. But hey it would pay off in the long run when she gets her dream job. As soon as they arrived back to the dorm she went to her bed to see that the nasty sheets her water broke on was now gone and she had a new comforter set.

There was a small crib next to her bed where baby Rylan could sleep at. "I thought it would be nice if he had his own space you know?"Amaria said while coming into the room. "Oh thank you so much Mari you didn't have to do that!", "yes I did that's my godson and he needs his space to" She said while chuckling.

Cayla thought about Rylan growing up and she definitely didn't want him to grow up in a dorm room his toddler years. Josh had a nice bachelor pad and she thought that it would be a good idea if they saved up for a house and she continued school online. Just something to think about. But in the meanwhile home was college.....

I really loved writing this chapter because I felt like I was right there telling her to push lol. But heyyy lovely I just want to thank you guys for commenting and voting and chapter 11 should be coming on saturday. The chapters will be coming back to back like I promised.
