"Jenevie get up!" I hear screams and jumping on my bed as I focus back to reality.
I open my eyes and see that Eduardo is on my bed jumping like a 5 year old. I roll my eyes and close my eyes again. He's so childish.
"I guess I'm going to get the cold water," he sighs. My eyes shoot open, and I look at him, he's about to walk out but I stop him.
"No! I'm up, I'm up," I groan as I pull the sheets off of me. The cold air hits me and I just wanna get back in bed and sleep. "Why did you wake me up anyway?"
"Jenevie it's 3 in the afternoon," he laughs. My eyes grow wide, 3 in the afternoon!? "And we have to get ready for that party you're dad told us about last week."
"Ugh I totally forgot about that," I rub the sleep out of my eyes. How did I sleep until 3? I went to sleep at 4 because Eduardo and Alex didn't stop yelling and woke up kaylee.
"Yea you need to get ready because you look like a zombie," he smirks.
I stick my toungue out at him and roll my eyes, he just laughs and leaves my room.
I walk to my closet, and look through it to find the dress I bought when my dad told us. It was a party for his work or whatever that is. He said we had to come, it's an important event for him. The dress I bought was white, it reached just above my knees.
I hop in be shower, and put my hair in a bun because I washed it before I went to sleep yesterday, well today.

I slip the dress on, and it stuck to my curves. I thought it looked pretty good. I walked over to the mirror on my desk and start putting on mascara. It was the only thing I would put on, and I would sometimes also put pencil eyeliner on the bottom of my eyes.
When I'm done, I decide to curl my hair in waves, it was the best I could come up with.
After 20 minutes of curling my hair, there's a knock at the door as I release the piece of hair I just curled.
"Come in!" I yell and grab another strand of my hair.
The door opens, and I see through the mirror that Damian is standing next to the door. I get confused so I turn around to see what he wants.
"You're dad said we're leaving in 5 minutes, he wanted me to tell you," he stands there awkwardly, not knowing what to do.
I smile at him, "Okay I'm finished anyways," I unplug the curler and toss it where the straightener is. I walk over to get my heels, they don't really have a tall heel, it's perfect for me.
I grab my bag and head downstairs where everyone is at. They all look stunning, Elizabeth looks absolutely beautiful. She wears a long black dress and her hair is pulled into a low ponytail. My dad and Elizabeth watch us come down the stairs and smile.
"Finally the zombie is done," Eduardo speaks up, standing up from the couch and walking towards the door.
I roll my eyes at him and decide to let it go. Alex and Damian start to laugh but as soon as I glare at them they stop.
We all walk to the car and we all pile inside, my dad and Elizabeth in the front, Kaylee, Alex and me in the middle, and Damian and Eduardo in the back.
It's a peaceful silence, as I look out of the window and observe all the trees and all the cars that pass by us.
It's a long drive, longer than I excepted. I close my eyes, and lean my head on the window. It's hot, since the sun is shining on it. I get close into falling into a deep sleep until I feel someone throw something at the back of my head. I ignore it, knowing it's Eduardo being childish.
I feel something again, I turn my head around and see that Eduardo and Damian are 'sleeping'. I stare at them until one of them opens their eyes.
Eduardo's eyes shoot open, and the first thing he looks at is me. He tries not to laugh, but fails.
"It wasn't me, it was Damian," he defends, still laughing.
Damian opens his eyes seconds later, and he stares between us.
"What?" He asks.
I roll my eyes and turn around, looking back out the window until my dad stops. I look at our surroundings, and I see a huge mansion in front of us. I stare at it, observing everything of it. It was so huge.
"Well Jenevie are you gonna get out or not?" Eduardo asks me. I see that everyone is starting to leave the car. I mumble a sorry and step out of the car.
We walk towards the huge place, and I notice other people are arriving too. This must be really important.
The door is already open, letting all the people inside. When I step in, my eyes widen in shock. It's bigger than it looks from outside. I follow Eduardo, Alex and Damian, not wanting to get lost since my dad went another way and I lost him.
They look lost as well, but I don't blame them because this mansion is enormous.
"I don't want to greet anyone," Damian groans, as we stand a little far away from everyone.
"I know, this is shit," Eduardo says. "There's no other kids here."
I stare around, and there is actually no kids here, only a bunch of grown people greeting and talking to each other.
I find my dad looking around as of he's looking for someone. He looks like a lost puppy. I stare at him until I see what's he doing. He makes eye contact with me and makes his way over here. I groan, knowing he'll make me meet random people I don't want to meet.
"Come on," he looks at all of us. We all roll our eyes as we follow behind him. We all makes our way through people, mumbling sorrys when I would bump into someone.
My dad approaches a guy, he has a beard and his hair is combed back. His hands are in his pockets, and he's smiling for no reason. They shake hands and then their attention turns to us.
"This is my daughter, Jenevie," I fake a smile as he pulls out his hand for me to shake it. I hesitantly shake it, quickly.
"Jenevie," he says my name. "Beautiful name."
"Thanks," I sigh as I look away from him.
My dad introduces the rest of the boys, and I stand there awkwardly.
As soon as he's done, we walk away, happy that we didn't have to greet anyone else. We walk towards where we were, and a lady aprroaches us, with some water in a tray. She asks each of us if we wanted some and I gladly took a cup.
I start to drink the water, refreshing my dry throat. The feeling is amazing.
"Aye Steven," I hear Damian yell and I almost spit my water out. I swallow it before it can spill out and I start to cough. Why on earth does Steven have to be here?
I look up and see that Steven is walking over here.
"What's wrong?" Damian asks.
"Nothing," I say and clear my throat.
Damian never knew about Steven, the only ones who knew where Eduardo and Alex since they kept on asking what happened to Steven.
"What's up dude?" Steven shakes his hand. I never knew they talked like that.
"Um I'm going to find Elizabeth, I need to ask her something," I tell Eduardo, as I can feel Steven and Damian staring at me.
"I'll come,"
"No, no. Its okay," I smile at him and walk away. I was lying, I didn't need to ask Elizabeth anything, but I was going to find her.
I walk through piles of people, looking everywhere and I still can't find her.
I sigh as I walk back to where the boys are.
