A Weeding to remember
The day of the wedding had finally arrived, and the Choi mansion was alive with activity. The garden, transformed into a fairytale wonderland, was illuminated by golden sunlight. The air smelled of fresh flowers—roses, lilies, and baby's breath—arranged in intricate patterns around the venue. Staff bustled around, making last-minute adjustments to ensure perfection, while soft classical music played in the background, setting a serene yet anticipatory atmosphere.
In one wing of the mansion, Jeonghan stood in his room, surrounded by Seungkwan, Seokmin, and Dino. He wore a silky white robe, his hair styled to perfection, as Seokmin fussed over the floral boutonniere.
"Jeonghan-hyung, I'm telling you, this is crooked," Seokmin whined, holding up the accessory.
Jeonghan laughed softly, brushing his hand away. "Seokmin-ah, it's fine. It's not even on me yet."
Seungkwan, standing by the mirror, turned to give Jeonghan a pointed look. "Hyung, you're awfully calm for someone getting married in a few hours. Are you even nervous?"
Jeonghan tilted his head, a serene smile on his lips. "Why should I be nervous? It's Seungcheol. He's been my constant in everything. Today's just making it official."
Dino, sitting cross-legged on the bed, piped up with a teasing grin. "Hyung, you're so chill it's making me nervous for you. What if you trip while walking down the aisle?"
Jeonghan threw a pillow at him, laughing. "Thanks for the confidence boost, Chan-ah."
Seungkwan sighed dramatically, stepping closer. "Hyung, you're like an angel descending to earth in that suit. No one's going to notice if you trip because they'll be too busy being blinded by your beauty."
Jeonghan rolled his eyes, but his smile grew softer. "You all are too much. But really, thank you for being here with me. It means more than you know."
Seokmin clapped his hands together, his energy infectious. "Alright, enough emotional talk! Let's get you ready to knock Seungcheol-hyung off his feet."
As Jeonghan changed into his tailored white suit—a masterpiece that fit him like a glove—the atmosphere in the room shifted. Seungkwan adjusted his lapels with the utmost care, while Dino snapped a few candid photos, muttering about how he needed to document this historic moment.
"You look perfect, hyung," Seungkwan said softly, his eyes shimmering.
Jeonghan met his gaze in the mirror, his own eyes glistening. "Thank you, Boo."
Meanwhile, in another room, Seungcheol paced back and forth, his nerves fraying with every passing second. Hoshi sat on the couch, munching on a granola bar as if it were any other day, while Wonwoo stood by the window, his calm presence a stark contrast to Seungcheol's restless energy.
"Hyung, you're going to wear a hole in the carpet," Hoshi teased, his voice laced with amusement.
Seungcheol shot him a glare. "Do you have any idea how long it's been since I saw him? Two days. Two. Days. Who even decided that was a good idea?"
"Seungkwan and Seokmin," Wonwoo replied without looking away from the window. "And I believe Jeonghan agreed, just to mess with you."
Seungcheol groaned, running a hand through his hair. "I hate traditions. I just want to see him."
A knock at the door interrupted his grumbling. A staff member peeked in, offering a polite smile. "Mr. Choi, it's time."
The weight of those words hit him like a freight train. His hands trembled slightly as Wonwoo stepped forward to adjust his tie.
