Chapter 5 - urgent work?

Aditi's POV -

I can't believe I'm on a date with Ayushman Shekhawat. That's a big deal. Because i- to be honest I don't know why am I making it a big deal. Ugh well because you "will" marry him. My stupid brain, you shut up. It's not a big deal. I'll go pretend to enjoy in front of him. But then pretend to hate the date in front of my family. Yes!! That's the perfect plan!

"What are you smiling at?" I forgot he is standing right next to me. Ugh.

"Nothing" I look at the scene in front of me.
He decorated a beach setup for us to enjoy.
That's my dream date. It's so sweet of him to-

"It wasn't my idea, my mom forced me to take you her. I prefer to just go to a restaurant. If you want we can ditch this setup and leave"

He didn't do this? Wait why will he do it? Maybe it's an arrange marriage for him to. Yes, that makes sense. But I like this setup. But you don't plan to marry him! Ugh can't my brain just shut up. I think a restaurant is good. I can't handle all this romantic setup when I plan to just reject him.

"Yeah. I think we should just go to a restaurant."
He nods at me and opens the car door and I climb in. We drive back in the city. Though I have to admit the beach setup was so beautiful. When I really do find the love of my life, I'll arrange a special date for him.

After some time we reach the restaurant. Ayushman helps me, again. We go in, the receptionist takes us to the 19th floor. The whole floor is empty. There is a table in the centre and it's all super white!

We both settle down.
"What would you want to drink?"

"I don't drink, so just water" I say.

"Really?" I nod

"Ok then, what would you like to eat." I want a cheese burger! But I say "I'll have some rice, maybe a veg biryani?"

"No starters?" I want to leave as soon as possible.

"No, that's all" he nods and orders my veg briyani. A whiskey and pasta for himself. He drinks? He is already on -2.

"So? What should we talk about?" I ask.

"Anything you want"

"Uh hm, let's just play 20 questions?" He nods

"Uh okay, I'll start. What do you do?" I ask.

"I am the CEO of Shekhawat groups! We handle the manufacturing of luxury items and have hotels, restaurant - his also one of ours" he points around us "and clubs".

Ugh that reply looks like a Google search!
"Ok, that's good. Your turn."

"How many boyfriends have you had" WHAT?
Why does he wants to know that!

"None!" I simply say the truth.

"Really? How come?"

"I never really wanted to disappoint my parents. And to be honest, I didn't find-" the waitress comes with my veg biryani, his whiskey and pasta. Shouldn't he have ordered wine with pasta? Anyway after the waitress leaves I continue "I didn't find anyone attractive enough to make him my boyfriend"

He smirks at that and takes a sip of his whiskey.

"Why are you smirking?"

"Nothing"

"It definitely was something! Anyway second question. How many women did you date"

"None" I laugh out loud
