It was a dark, bloodcurdling night. The moon was shielded by thick, misty fog that seemed to cover every inch of the forest. A dim light illuminated the sky from a well-hidden cave in the woods. A shade of dark green smoke unexpectedly drifted through the air, slicing through the fog.

"Just a little bit more and vengeance shall be mine. I couldn't forgive what they've done to you, Louise," said a voice. It came from inside the cave. The voice sounded dark and cold. Like the kind which could turn a good day into a bad one in a split second.

A man appeared to be stirring a boiling liquid in an ancient, black cauldron with a rusty ladle. He had distinguishable features which were that he wore foreign clothes that were torn and dirty, and a scar stretched from his eyebrow to his right eye.

He tilted a small vial and a purple, tacky substance leaked out. It gently dripped into the pot and a gust of smoke instantaneously puffed out. The man deliberately backed away from the pot. When the smoke cleared, he drew near to the pot once more.

He inhaled the concoction and his face gently relaxed. "Ahh... Sweet as honey." He took the ladle and scooped up some of the liquid and put it in a flask. He closed the container with a cork and tied it with a blue bow. He smirked. Finally, his plan was complete. Well, almost. The man reached for a small silver whistle on a nearby table and blew into it.

Suddenly, just as if in response of the whistle, the sound of wings flapping could be heard through the awfully quiet night. The noise gradually increased as whatever it was neared the cave. The man grabbed the bottle and ran to the cave's mouth. He tossed the flask into the air, and it slid through the creature's neck and then it wore it like a necklace.

He then shouted something undecipherable. The creature started to take-off. He stared at it for a moment while it flew away, bidding the creature good-bye. After it had flown away from sight, he smiled, satisfied, and went back inside the cave. Whatever had made those wing-flapping sounds was gone and took the prettily-decorated flask away.

Inside the cave, the man casted a devious smile as he put his plan into action.

You can also criticize the story if you want, but please, as much as possible no cuss words, 'kay? Somehow, I really despise it. No offense or anything.
