I wake up to my bed shaking and my phone falling off my bed. I open my eyes and feel the whole room shaking. Realization hits me, there is an earthquake. I jolt up and run to Mila, shaking her."Mila! Mila! Get up! There's an earthquake!" I scream at her.
She gets up instantly and grabs her phone while I grab mine and we run out the door, banging on everyone's door so they can get up.
"Wake up everyone! Wake up!" We both scream, still banging on everyone's door.
The emergency noise filled the whole dorm building and finally everyone were running out their doors.
I ran out with Mila, holding her hand as we stopped outside. I was shaking furiously as Mila hugged me telling me it's okay.
Suddenly someone pulled me out of my embrace with Mila and held me by my shoulders.
I looked up to find a worried Harry staring at me.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt?"
Before I could answer him, he pulled me into a tight hug and what felt like 3 seconds later everything stopped.
All the shaking of the ground stopped along the screams of the students.
I pulled out of the hug as I looked around me and found that my dorm building is all on the ground.
I gasp, not believing what just happened.
"What the hell?" I say out loud.
"Oh my god" Mila says above a whisper but I hear her since everyone is silent.
I stare at my once dorm building, not believing what's before my eyes.
"It's okay, it's gonna be alright," Harry said from behind me.
I turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck as I cried. It was so unbelievable. Literally. I've thought of so many bad things that could've happened but I never thought that an earthquake could take away my so called "second home".
"Hey guys, I'm so sorry for what has happened, the fire department are gonna send some ambulances over in a minute. So you guys can go ahead and look for anything you can find in the destroyed dorm building." Our dean told us.
I got out of Harrys arms, walking over to the destroyed building. I walk through all the mess but I feel something sharp enter the bottom of both of my foot.
I scream in pain, falling to the ground, completely forgetting that I ran out of my room without any shoes or slippers. Not even socks.
I start crying because of the pain, as I feel someone carrying me bride style, I look up to find Harry looking down at me with worry and pity in his eyes.
"You're okay, you'll be fine. Hold up, I'm gonna take you to the ambulance car," he said, still worried.
I wanted to protest because I didn't want his help. It's not that I don't appreciate it, it's just that I don't want him to think that I was looking for 'something'.
