What an ending.

It was now Saturday. Katie and Diego both said they were coming over to say goodbye, they came at two different times Katie came at 1 and Diego came at 5. I didn't really do much with Katie we kinda just sat the because I really have no memory of her, we watched movies and laughed and she even told me a few memories of ours. It was nice. By the time it was ready for her to leave she was nearly balling her eyes out I felt bad because I wasn't crying as much as she was but hey, I don't remember her. I was sitting in my room watching some more tv when my mom called me down for dinner, it was only 4:30pm now so I have about half an hour until Diego is coming. I ate my food and put my dish in the sink. As I was walking away my mom began saying "sweetie don't forget anything, we're not coming back" she said as nice as she could. I blankly ignored her and went upstairs. Diego soon showed up and since my mom didn't let me have boys in my room we decided to sit in my back yard.
"So um your leaving?" He said he didn't seem to happy about it, but I couldn't understand why.
"Yeah I guess my moms work wanted her to move again, or something like that" I said happily, trying to lighten the mood.
"Look I need to tell you something before you leave and I know it will mean nothing to you but, before you lost your memory we were close and I loved it and I love you.. I'm in love with you, I know that sounds weird because you feel like you don't know me but you do and we were so close to being together. I just needed to tell you that before you leave"
Honestly I was speechless and I didn't know what to do but before I could react his lips were on mine at first I was shocked but I eventually kissed him back. That was until his phone started ringing. It turned out it was his mom and she wanted him home. Before he left he gave me a hug and whispered in my ear. "I love you, please don't forget me." And he walked off. I was so confused but one thing I knew for sure was that I'm in love with this boy, I don't know how it happened or why but I feel for him and I fell hard.
