Cheer Team

Thursday

"Normani wake up! Nai Go to mommy so you can get dressed for school."

"Okaaaayyy" An irritated Normani said.

She exited the room. I proceeded to do my morning things. For my hair I parted it In the middle and braided both sides and ending it with mini green bows. Today I put on my long cross tank top With my white skinny jeans and silver earrings. For my shoes I'm wearing my black and white converses. I pack my bag for tryouts and I go downstairs and I eat my breakfast.

My Mom was running late from taking Mariella Normani and Brandon to school, so I walked over to Audri's house (a few houses down) to walk with her to school.

I knock on Audri's and her 12 year old sister answers the door. "Hey Bri. Audri's in the shower but you can come in." She says sincerely greeting me into the house. "It's kinda late for Audri to be showering now, isn't it." I say with some aggravation in my tone.
"Yea but you know Audri" she says.
I go upstairs and Audri's in the room putting on lipgloss. "Hey Audri." "Waasssuup my sissta!!"
She says with so much excitement she runs over and gives me a ginormous hug. "Girl you need to hurry up if we're going to make it to school." I tell her.

Today Audri had on a The walking dead shirt with some dark Jean shorts. She was wearing Her pink black and white Retro Jordan 7's, and she put her hair into a very pretty braided bun with a black mini bow in the center. I had to give it to her she was rocking her outfit today.

Me and Audri share all periods together except for 6th which is my music and her art. So I get to see her every day which is great. Today there is this new kid, Drè and he's kinda cute. He has black hair and light brown eyes. He's attractive and maybe Audri and him might click.

11:45am
Its Lunch and I see Kaleel walk over with his plate. "Hey Kaleeel" Audri says drawing out the E. "Hi Audri" He says while sitting down next to me. He kisses me on the cheek and I blush. I see Drè walk by us when "Audriii" invites him over. I knew him and Audri sorta clicked. We talked for a while and then the bell rings. Audri writes on a napkin and slides it over to Drè and gets her plate while telling me to come on. He gets real quiet then he giggles and licks/bites his lip. It couldn't have gotten more awkward. I turned around to say bye to Kaleel but him and Drè walked off talking. I just shrugged my shoulders and went to class with Audri.

After school

Cheer Team Tryouts are from Monday through Thursday and if you signed up they pick a fag for you to go. So me and Audri audition today so today is the last day. (If you get on the team practice is Monday Wednesday and Thursday.) Me and Audri Changed into matching workout attire. We both had on a pink "with her arrow" tanktops with some gray gym shorts.

We walked into the gym and saw a bunch of registration packs and about 35 girls sitting down. We went over to the bleachers while our moms filled out the packets. As we walk over we see Victoria and we both looked at each other and frowned. We sat down and hear Victoria say "Well isn't It the ratchet twins". Audri then loudly say If you have a problem you can come up here and solve it. Most of the girls ooo and Victoria rolls her eyes while saying "I'm good right here". "That's what I thought" Audri mumbles. I couldn't help but laugh and give my Sista a big thumbs up. She laughs along and says "No prob it's my Puerto Rican blood." I giggle.

The instructor comes out and greets us. "Hellooo Girls I'm ms Sarah. Today we are going to go over some basics. But first I'm going to need those packets, so mom's are y'all finished." They all said yes so ms Sarah got her assistant Becky to collect the packets. "Okay ladies we will do some regular exercises and we will have a game called repeat the dance. There are 24 girls here so you will split up into groups of 4. Now go ahead and pick." We split up into groups of 4 so it was me, Audri, Zoe, and Ashley in our group.

She gave us a easy dance to do and our group came out in first place. I did some cartwheels and backflips thanks mom for gymnastics when I was little. We were having so much for an end I was guaranteed me and Audri would make the team. We got the results on Friday and I am so nervous.

Tryouts for today was finally over and I can't wait till Friday to find out if me and Audri made the team. Audri's mom had to leave early to go to work so my mom gave me and her a ride to my house. "I had lots of fun today" I said to Audri "Me too sista" she replied.

The day was over Audri went home I did my usual things eat dinner washed up etc and went to sleep ready for the next day.
