It was a sunny afternoon in the recording studio, birds tweeting, the sun shining, the wind breezing by, and the sound of someone being beaten up senseless.

"Shut! Up! You!-" Matt grunted as he smacked a random person that just walked in.

I backed away and leaned towards Blake. "Should we interfere or..?"

He shrugged and watched. Today, Mr. J had to leave early for some business meeting, leaving the three of us alone, until someone I didn't know decided to pop in. I'm guessing Matt knew him because he's smacking the shiz out of him.

He looked similar to Matt, expect he had dirty blonde hair while Matt had clean, bright hair. The stranger was a bit older, a year maybe? I decided I didn't want them to break anything, thus chopping them both in the neck, making their bodies numb, although it shouldn't last for long. Maybe a minute.

"Wha-!? Kotone, what did you do!?"

I kicked him off of the stranger and stepped on his rib. "I didn't have a 105 average in AP science for nothing."

The stranger stood up and brushed himself off. "Thank you for that. My name is Cardin Parkinson, older brother of Mathew. And as you see, I am here to talk to Mathew."

"I don't want to talk to you! I hate you! Leave me alone!" Matt yelled. He seemed really mad and upset.

"Matt, chill. Okay, Cardin was it? Why do you want Matt? Seriously, he is really annoying." I asked.

Cardin stared at me, then chuckled. "Well, that's certainly one way of describing him. I am here to take him home. Sorry to bother all of you, but my family refuses to allow Mathew to become a...singer. Especially when he has high expectations from his family. Having him be an "idol" is outrageous and disgraceful. Now, if you'll excuse me, we'll be on our way." He took a step forward, but I stood in his way with my arms crossed.

"No can do. Matt has decided that he wanted to be a singer, and that is that."

He gave me an amused face. "Hmm, interesting. Fine, I'll give you three days. Show me what he's made of, and I'll judge whether or not he'll stay."

"Deal." We shook hands and he laughed. "Good luck, you're gonna need it."

As he left the room, I flipped him off (yes, both hands) and tried to help up Matt, but he slapped my hand away harshly. "Leave me alone!" He screamed.

"..." there was a stunning silence as he got up himself. I tightened my fists and looked down for a long time. "Matt-"

"Shut up. I didn't want your help. I didnt need you help." Matt said harshly with an icy tone. I've never seen him like this, he seemed...distant. His eyes were blank and dull, his fists clenched so hard that his knuckles turned white.

"...Matt..." Jaune whispered.

"Don't get in this!" He snapped.

Immediately, Jaune shrunk and covered his face.

"Matt!" I gripped his wrists, and made him turn around to look at me.

"Leave me alone!" He raised his arm and my eyes widened.

Slap!

A burning sensation was felt on my cheek with my face turning sideways.

"K-Kotone...I..."

I didn't say anything, but I did move. Without a word, I gripped him by the collar and pulled his face close to mine.

"Don't give me that bull! Now come on, we have to prove your brother wrong! Jaune, Blake, we're going to my place. Lets go!" I took his hand this time and pull him put of the room. Jaune and Blake followed while also brining my bag.
