We made our way to Matt's house - which was right next door - and walked inside, the smell of alcohol and smoke already lingering in the air.
I mumbled something under my breath and grabbed a drink for me and one for Dylan, handing it to her before I sat down on the couch as people started to come in.
Matt walked down from the hall in a pair of sweatpants and a gray sweatshirt that said "OHBOY" in big red letters, yawing the whole way here. "Oh, hey Jeremy and..Dylan?" He said with a hint of confusion.
I smirked and looked up at his choice of clothes. "Forgot about the party?"
He looked around at the few people already here and his eyes widened. "Shit! I was taking a nap too." He said, running back to his room and changing.
I chuckled lowly and noticed Dylan staring off into space.
"Uh, Dylan?"
Her head snapped and turned to me, her eyes wide with shock. "Huh?!"
I smirked and took a sip of the drink in my hand. "You spaced out."
"Oh..sorry!" She chirped, a soft giggle escaping her lips as she covered her mouth and coughed, trying to hide her giggle. "I don't like you.." she mumbled and narrowed her eyes at me before looking at the drink in her hand. "What is this?" She questioned, a small part of her curious.
"It's a coke. I don't drink, I don't know about you." I stated.
"Me? Never." She said softly and looked around the room.
"Good to know." I said, a smile from ear-to-ear.
Matt came back, sitting beside me.
"How's the party so far?" He asked, the smell of Vodka already lingering in his breath.
I rolled my eyes, "It's okay." I shrugged.
Dylan sat still next to me, looking around the house. Everyone kept staring at her like she was an alien. I get it though, she doesn't talk to anyone or go to parties, but shit stop staring.
She hasn't said a word since Matt came to us.
"Hey, you okay?" I asked softly in her ear.
She nodded, sighing loudly.
I didn't want to push it, today was a hard day for her.
"Hey, Jeremy." A short girl with brown hair said to me.
"Hey." I asked, not really wanted to talk with her.
She let her finger linger down my chest. I groaned, rolling my eyes, before pushing her off. "Who are you?" I chuckled.
"Your worst nightmare." She whispered, seductively into my ear.
I smirked, winking at her.
She pulled on my shorts, pulling me closer to her waist.
"Wanna go upstairs?" She asked, the alcohol in her breath making me want to throw up.
I began to nod my head, but for some reason I pushed her off. "No thanks." I said with a smirk, sitting back down by Dylan.
