The pounding in my head increases dramatically. The pain in my throat increasing as he draws near.
“What are you doing out so late miss?”
I remain silent. Opening my mouth right now would not be a good idea. He has no idea of the real danger of this situation.
“Come on miss, cat got your tongue?”
“No.” I hiss out. He stops in his tracks at the low echoing noise.
“No need to be like that, miss.”
He has no idea how hard this is. The pain increases and I slowly reach out a hand. He smiles and walks towards me. I try to move my hand but my own body is working against my will. He walks right up too me.
“I knew that you would come around, miss.”
“Scarlett. Scarlett Black.”
I let a smile cross my lips. He grins back at me.
“That’s a nice name.”
“I have heard better.”
His eyes squint in confusion. I grin broadly now and he sees what I have been trying so hard to hide
“Your, your teeth!”
He starts backing up and I slowly follow, knowing that he can’t escape me. No one can.
“Please. Stay away from me.”
“It is far too late for that my friend. He turns to run and I jump, landing right in his face.
“You can’t out run me.”
He whimpers softly and I trace his cheekbone. He shivers at my cold touch. I trace the hollow of his neck. He closes his eyes and stops breathing. I laugh. He cringes away from me. I turn my hands into iron fists in his hair and pull him back close to me.
“Goodbye. I hope you dwell in hell for the evil you caused.”
I close my lips on his neck. A loud scream pierces the dark alley, but no one comes running.
