The proposal was nothing short of a fairytale, the kind every heart secretly yearns for. Anirudh had transformed the entire venue into a world of soft, enchanting hues. Dimmed lights cast a tender glow, with delicate white and blue tones illuminating the space. White flowers adorned every corner, and candles flickered softly, painting the moment with magic. It was as if Lavanya was stepping into a dream, crafted just for her.
At the center of it all was a breathtaking "Will You Marry Me?" sign, suspended within a heart-shaped frame of white blossoms. It swayed gently, as though whispering promises of forever. The scene felt surreal, an unforgettable blend of romance and elegance, pulled straight from a storybook.
Anirudh stood there, his love shining as brightly as the candles around him. At that moment, he wasn't just proposing—he was declaring his unwavering commitment to Lavanya. And though she might not fully realize it yet, by saying yes, she had made the best decision of her life.
We couldn't help but smile, hearts warm with happiness for them. Once the magic of the proposal settled, we all gathered around the dining table, laughter and chatter filling the air. It was time to enjoy some snacks before diving into the Sangeet celebrations for Anirudh and Lavanya—a night that promised even more memories to cherish.
"So, everyone, I've got some good news for you all," I announced, taking a sip of my wine, a satisfied smile on my lips.
"And what's that?" Adhirikshit asked, raising an eyebrow as he leaned forward with curiosity.
"We got our Silver Stone back," I said, the pride in my voice unmistakable.
"Woah!" Vanshika, Anirudh, and Ayaan shouted in unison, their excitement breaking through the quiet ambiance, drawing attention from everyone around us.
Mayra and Adhimaan immediately turned apologetic, bowing slightly as they chorused, "Sorry, sorry, sorry!" to the rest of the room.
"Old news," Rehan muttered, casually setting Mayra's hair in place, as if the victory didn't phase him.
"Huh? What do you mean by old news, Rehan?" I asked, narrowing my eyes as I took another sip of my wine.
"My sister was in court," Rehan replied nonchalantly, glancing at me. "She hasn't stopped bragging about how you won the case and how flawless you looked while doing it. Seriously, my ears are bleeding from her endless praises."
A wave of pride surged through me. "Shut up. At least someone understands my value as a lawyer," I shot back with a smirk, holding my head high.
"Whatever," Rehan mumbled, taking a sip of his own drink, clearly unimpressed but amused.
