I sit on the grass, my hair sopping wet, my clothes are soaked. Horribly, soaked. Ash just sits next to me. Grinning. "Why'd you pull me in?" I grumble then look at him. His mouth pulled into a smirk. "Cause you pushed me in. I though it would be only fair" he smirks and gets up, he does a low bow then starts walking back to our dorm. "Your going to pay for that." I mumble, and get up, he yawns, and stretches, I just noticed it was getting dusk. I sneak up to him. Im almost behind him, when he stops, then looks behind him, seeing me, but eyeing the frorst. "Dang!" I yell and stomp my feet. "Be quiet!" He whispers, and walks towards me, taking me in his arms, then pushing me behind him. "Ash?" I ask, and peek around the corner of him. "Wave, when I say go, you run. Do not wait for me. Go to the academy. Then tell the headmaster. Tell her to leave, the school is going to be attacked. Tell her to evacuate" Ash whispers, and his hands burst into flames. I look at him. Then nod, rubbing back to the academy
The gates were open. "Were getting attacked!" I scream and the guards get their weapons. They all run into the forest. I hear screams and I see blasts of light, fire, and ice come from the forest. I get into the academy. Students are shuffling around, doing their normal business. "Where Is Headmaster Bell?!" I yell. "She's gone" a small girl answered and smiles. "Ok," I say and get to the front of the hall. "Get into our dorms. Were getting attacked!" I yell and that's when the first crash came from the wall. A flaming fireball crashes into the academy from the open wall. More pour in.Followed by gunshots. The academy starts to catch fire. Soon, I am falling into unconscious. Yelling and screaming around me. Everything turns black, then the noise fades out.

I wake up, laying on the ground in a cave. "Ash" I croak. As I see his body slumped against the wall. His head in his hands. "Ash" I repeat and try to get. I wince and fall back to the ground. I look at my side. A wound from a bullet. It was bleeding a bit. But I noticed a scarf around it. Then I looked around the cave. I saw about 7 other people sleeping. "Wave!" Ash moves so fast its a blur. He is at my side cluthimg my hand. "I shouldn't have left you their. I'm sorry." He says and puts my hand down. Then starts to walk out. "Ash. Come back" I groan and sit up. Wincing at my every movement. He turns around. I notice the blood in his hair and a long scratch on his forehead. "Your hurt, now get back here!" I snap. Causing some of the people to stir But they never wake up. "Its fine" he says and comes and sits by me. "It is not" I say through gritted teeth and tear and some fabric from the scarf. I dab the cut with it. Sopping up some blood. "Give me your finger" I instruct and he obeys. I put his finger to his cut. "Now, make it burn. Or heat up" I say and he does it. As it burns I cross over the cut. It seals so it doesn't bleed. I notice him wincing. "Its ok" I sooth and hug him, just like a child. Except I'm doing this to a 17 year old boy. "What about yours?" He asks and looks at it. "I need water. It helps speed my healing process. Just like fire to you. Except you needed it be all around you. But I sealed the cut. It shouldn't be bad now." I smile. He looks at me and smiles. His eyes happy but his body tired. He leans in and cups my cheek with his hand. His lips close to mine. I lean back nervously. "So..who's the others?" I ask and point to the people who are starting to stir. He looks at me. "Sorry. Um..these are the only survivors. Flare, she is the one who can make lava, her boyfriend Scott. He can make tornados. They are crazy when they mix their powers." Ash shakes his head and chuckles. "Well their are the twins, they are only 11, Trinity and Tristan. They can change time. We found them when they were only 3. Terra, she bends earth. She was the main captain of the Earth since she was like us. Captains. We are the main elements. There is Chase, He can control wind. But he is pretty badly injured, then there is Steel. He can control metal" Ash tells me. I hear something moving at the enterance of the cave. "What the hell is that?!" I yell as a large hound comes in. "That, would be Drogon. My hell hound" Ash says and grins. "Wait, where is Mystic?" I ask and look around. I see her in a corner, barely breathing. I get up and limp over to her. Falling to her side. She was human, but not for long. She needs to turn back into her water horse form. "Mystic, what happened?!" I ask, and look her over. She had no wounds. But why was she in pain. "I need to turn back. I can't be like this." She gasped and clutched her side. Ash looks at me and I grimace in pain as I cluth my own stomace where Mystic did. "What's happening?!" I ask Ash. "Remember when you came to the academy and she brought you here, and you two had a mind link. That's because she's your spirit. She is a companion to help make decisions and help you with things. If she dies you die. That's how it is with the main Elements. My spirit is the hell hound, Terras is the wolf, and Chases is the Hawk." He explains to me. You need to heal her." Hr days before sitting down. Petting the muzzle of his spirit animal. I look at him. But just for a moment because I hear Mystic cry in pain. Soon that pain comes to me. I fight the tears that brim my eyes, I grab her hand and electricity shoots through it. We gasp and her wounds start to glow a blue purplish color. She passes out, as her body changes back from human to her water horse form.
I smile in relief as she does, her pained look goes back to a relief look.
