Chapter Ten

I have so much I want to write about this right now so this chapter is going to be really long sorry

Somehow, a whole year passed in what seemed like the blink of an eye. Jas and Charlie were happier then ever, and she'd developed such a close relation ship with Leondre and his brother Joey. They had become like her brothers. Charlie's mum also treated her like she's known her, her whole life now, and Charlie's little sister adored her. Charlie has become really close to her family, especially her antis who had just given birth to baby Jake. Jas and Charlie spent a lot of time with him, they spoiled him rotten with toys and clothes. It had even made Charlie think about his proper future with his girlfriend, and he had stay erred to become quite broody, but he hasn't mentioned it to her yet.

They were sat in the bed, cuddling up and he was playing with her hair.

"Jas..." Charlie said.

"Yes charl?" Jas replied, putting on a baby voice

"I've been thinking. Like, properly thinking. About us. And our future... And, I've seriously thought about this part and I... Well, I want to start a family. You're everything I've ever wanted and my mum loves you, Brooke loves you, and j just want to spend the rest of my life with you!" He gushed.

"Wow" Jas said. She wasabi led but so happy he told her. "I'm so happy you've told me, because I've started thinking the same! Only thoughts though, I'm not sure what I actually want yet... Just give me some time to think. But thank you for being honest with me" when she finished, she turned he head to face Charlie and kissed his nose lightly.

Suddenly, her phone vibrated and started ringing. Jas picked it up and when she saw who was ringing, her face lit up and she smiled.

"Oh My Gosh, hi" she said excitedly. She got up and walked out of the room to go sit in the spare room, not wanting to annoy Charlie. About 20 minutes later she came back and say in front of him, smiling broadly.

"What?" Charlie asked, amused at how happy she was.

"My best friend from primary school, Lauren, went to college in America. She's been away for 3 years, and she's coming back today, and well I said she could stay here!" Jas. explained excitedly.

"That's great B" He said, sitting up and kissing her cheek.

"I want to make a big deal of her coming back, get the others to come around and I'll make a meal for everyone. I want to make her feel welcome" she said, as he nodded.

That night all the boys were around, smartly dressed and drinking beers. The table was set as it always was when they all had lunch, with one extra plate. Jas had finished cooking dinner and was fishing it out when she heard a knock at the front door. She couldn't wait to see Lauren.

Jas practically ran to the front door and opened it, but she was shocked at what she saw. It was Lauren, but not the same Lauren that went to America 3 years ago. Her friend who went away was shy, with shoulder length mousy brown hair. She was quite and kept herself to herself. The girl stood in front of her had waist length bleach blonde hair, her skin was deeply tanned and she was certainly dressed like she was still in America, in short denim skirt, crop top and heels. She was actually wearing freaking heels.

"Hey, darling" Lauren said in a fake American accent. It made Jas cringe.

"Hey babe!" Jas said putting on a fake smile. There was something about her that had changed apart from her physical appearance, and Jas really didn't like it. She led her into the kitchen, and as they passed the living room door all the boys cheered. They were watching football before they had dinner so Jas presumed their team had scored.

"What's all that about?" Lauren questioned. Jas' mouth dropped as she realised she hadn't even told her about breaking up with Aron, Jack going on BGT. Or about meeting Charlie and him being apart of a Duo.

"Long story short, Aron cheated on me, Jack went on BGT, made good friends with a duo called Bars and Melody, introduced me to them, and now I'm with one of them" Jas explained as if it was nothing.

"Wow!" Lauren said "you'r life changed a hell of a lot then, huh?" Jas couldn't stand the way she still spoke as if she was in America. It was infuriating.

Football must have finished now, because three lads clambered out of the living room and into the kitchen. They all stopped when they saw Lauren, apart from Charlie who went straight to Jas' side. They stared at her in awe, not because she was good looking, but because they thought that basically she looked like a fucking clown. Not even Leondre tried flirting with her.

All the boys introduced themselves though, and Jas led everyone into the dining room.

"What's this?" Lauren questioned as she stared at the meal Jas had made.

"Well I wanted to make you feel welcomed so I made us dinner, and I thought we could have a movie night?" Jas admitted timidly. She didn't know why but she found Lauren slightly intimidating. Maybe because her top barley covered her nipples and her skirt was more like a belt, and she was stood there in jeans and one of Charlie's t-shirts. Jas was pretty sure all the boys knew what colour underwear Lauren had on.

"Oh, but I wanted to go out! Let's go get drunk!" Lauren said over-excited, at it again with the fake American accent.

The boys were happy to do whatever, but Jas felt like she should do what Laure. Wanted since it was her first night back.

So Jas left the food on the table and went to get ready. She decided to just straighten her hair and put it up in a ponytail, keep her make up natural and wear white jeans, a crop top and some heeled boots. Lauren of course, plastered on fake tan and make up, back combed her barbie like hair and wore a short dress with spaghetti straps, but Jas was sure that it was just a vest top she pulled down.

They went downstairs, called a taxi and headed to the clubs. When they arrived, it wasn't long before everyone was tipsy. Jas stood with leondre and jack. Charlie was sat talking to Lauren. She couldn't hear what they were saying, but Lauren obviously found it absolutely because after everything he said she threw her head back in firs of laughter. Charlie looked kind of uncomfortable though.

"Doesn't is bother you?" She heard leondre saying. She turned to face him.

"Doesn't what bother me?" Jas asked, slightly confused.

Jack heard, and decided to answer for Leondre

"The way your 'best friend' is acting around your boyfriend. She's acting brand like a total slut, Jas. I'm keeping an eye on Charlie" jack said with a hint of anger in his voice.

Jas thought about it, and shook her head. "I trust him completely, when we first got together, he promised me he'd never hurt me. And in the year we've been together he's never broken one promise to me, so I don't think he will break this one" she said with complete confidence. Jack raised his eyebrow but hugged her, showing her he understood. All the boys were so protective of Jas, and if Charlie did hurt her then he would have them both to answer to. Even in spite of saying she trusted him, she looked back over at them. Lauren now had her hand on Charlie's knee. He still looked uncomfortable, but didn't move it.

A few hours later, Charlie was completely plastered. Everyone else was just slightly tipsy, so jack decided it was time to go home, nobody disagreed, and Charlie couldn't even get his words out. Somehow, they all found their way to Jas' house and passed out wherever they were comfy.

About an half and hour later, Jas woke up outside her bedroom door. It was still dark outside. Her head was throbbing so badly, all she wanted to do was crawl into bed and cuddle Charlie. She stood up slowly, hanging onto the banister and heard a faint moaning. She couldn't figure out where it was coming from, so blamed it on her hangover. She opened the door slowly.

"Charlie...." She whispered, her voice croaky. She looked up at her bed and instantly wished she hadn't. She felt her heart literally miss a few beats, and fell back against the wall as her vision blurred and her chest tightened.
