I think y'all can guess what happens in this chapter... Anyway, the photo is of Cody, Jason's loyal friend! Enjoy!

POV: Jason

Today was just another typical Thursday for me. Nothing special happened at school, home, or with my friends. Or maybe something interesting did happen and I've just been too zoned out to realize it. All day long, I haven't been able to get that boy out of my head. And since I saw him primarily from the back and side, I've had to do a whole lot of imagining.

I've pictured his face, his smile, his body, just about every physical part about him. What I find even more intriguing than his looks is his personality. I need to know what his interests are, what he wants to do in life, what his ideal man is like... If he's even into men, that is. These questions have been on my mind all day, and quite frankly, it's starting to make me go crazy.

Once school ends, I meet the other guys at Paul's car to go to the gym. The whole car ride, all I can think is what I'll do if I see mystery boy again. Probably just stare and wish I was brave enough to talk to him, to be honest. When we get there, there are quite a few people, but brown-haired boy is not one of them. My friends and I change into our workout clothes and leave our backpacks in lockers. As we make our way to the exit of the locker room, the door opens to reveal the boy that has occupied my thoughts all day.

He steps back holds the door open for the five of us to exit, and all I can think about is how well-mannered he must be. One by one, my group exits, thanking the boy as we go. When I pass through the doorway, I smile and thank him, looking deep into his shining blue eyes. I wish I could just get lost in his eyes, but I reluctantly follow my friends back into the gym. We walk to the weights station, and I quickly sneak a glance back to see the boy go into the locker room. I shake my head and take a deep breath, savoring the image of his smiling face.

The rest of our workout is uneventful, and I spend the majority of the time watching the boy work out out of the corner of my eye. My friends at this point don't mind my spacing out, so they just let me get lost in my thoughts. After a little over an hour of lifting weights, we grab our stuff from the locker room and hang out with Marissa at the cafe for awhile. Once the flirt-fest finally ends, we pile into Paul's car and start riding home. I'm usually the first or second to be dropped off on Thursdays, but today Paul drops Cody off and skips my house.

"Uh, aren't you gonna drop me off?" I ask in confusion, but Paul just shakes his head.

"Nah, I have a couple homework questions, so I hope it's cool if I drop you off last." I look at Stephen and Ayden, who just shrug, looking just as puzzled as me.

Nobody says anything else while making our way to Stephen and Ayden's houses. Once it's just Paul and me in his car, he pats the front seat and says, "Come sit up here." I comply, still very confused, and buckle up as Paul starts to drive again.

"Okay, obviously you don't need homework help. So what's up?"

"You need to tell me what's wrong. You've been so out of it recently, and Cody told me that he asked you about it and you just said that your grades were slipping. That's such bullshit, man, so tell me the truth." After Cody, I consider Paul my closest friend in the group, but I still refuse to tell him what's going on. Not until I'm ready.

Shaking my head, I firmly respond, "Nothing's wrong. Why is that so hard to believe?"

After a couple long, painfully awkward minutes of silence, Paul asks a simple question. "Are you gay?" This question makes me feel like I just got hit by a truck. I don't know if I'm ready to tell him, but now I either have to come out or lie to one of my best friends.
