How it All Started

Chapter 3

Cameron POV

   I honestly can't wait until tonight. This is my first real "date" since moving to Indianapolis. After I arrived to art class, I spotted Jordan sitting at the table by herself. "Jordan!" I say as I sit next to her at the table.  "Hey Cam, are you excited about tonight? 'Cause I can't stop thinking about it!" Jordan says with a huge smile on her face. "Yes I honestly can't wait! I think I like Alex and I’ve only known him for less than 24 hours is that normal?" "Nope," she says giggling "but I think I like Keagan too...” "Ha-ha we are whipped,” I say giggling with her.

  Cameron POV +before the carnival+

"Jordan!" I yelled, god where the hell was she! She was taking so long! Keagan and Alex will be here soon. "Jordan, what the hell are you doing" I called from the bottom of the stairs.

"One minute I'm coming!" She shouted back at me. I took the time to look my self over in the mirror. I was wearing light jean washed shorts and a Lacey crop top. My combat boots were ankle ones and my hair was curled in long loose curls down my back. "Ok I'm ready" Jordan said scaring me half to death. She wore tight over all jean shorts, a cropped top that said 'sucker for marines' and her hair was braided in a long French braid down her back topping off her outfit was he favorite ankle light brown cow boy boots. I laughed at her and smiled "ha-ha what?" She questioned me.

"Not like you’re a redneck or anything...." I said sarcastically. 

She looks at me and laughs.

"Aha, nah, I'm city slicker" she laughed with a wink. I smiled and quickly made my way to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. Was it normal I was this nervous to see Alex? I had never really had a crush before, or never one like this. "Cameron! Call me down when they are here okay?" Jordan called from my room.

"Okay no problem!" I walked from the kitchen to the living room with my water in hand when the doorbell rang and I practically booked it to the door. When I reached the door I checked myself out in the mirror quickly. I opened the door to be greeted by Alex and Keagan. Alex was wearing a dark grey T-shirt and light brown Cargo shorts, matched off with a pair of black converse; and standing beside him was Keagan, he was wearing a button up red flannel, light wash jeans and a pair of dark cowboy boots.

"Hey!" Alex said gleefully at me. I blushed biting my lip and replying,

"Hey Alex, Keagan" Alex smiled while Keagan looked around me, oh shit I forgot "JORDAN!! ALEX AND KEAGAN ARE HERE, GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE!!!!"

*Keagan's POV*

"JORDAN!! ALEX AND KEAGAN ARE HERE, GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE!!!!" Cameron yelled towards the stairs. Not gonna lie I was really excited to see Jordan.

"ONE MINUTE, I'M GETTING GUM! WANT SOME?" Jordan called back

"YEAH, HURRY UP THOUGH" Cameron yelled in response. After a minute of waiting Jordan rushed down the stairs. My eyes widened when I saw her, she was gorgeous.  

I looked at Alex and he grinned at me. Tonight was going to be a night that I was going to remember for a long time. 

"Wow Jordan you look, very pretty." I lie. She wasn't pretty she was beautiful but I didn’t want to make her think that I was trying to hard.

"Thanks" she said blushing. Oh my lord she looks so cute when she blushes. I just smile as a reply and say "Are you guys ready to go?" 

"Yup" I hear Alex and Cameron say in unison and I turned around and saw them both look at each other and blush.

 “Yeah,” I hear Jordan “just let me tell my mom we are leaving” and with that she went inside.

 “Cameron you look stunning,” Alex said blushing as she smiled and said ”Thank you. You look very cute.” She replied her blush getting even redder. He smiled at her and slid his arm around her waist and turned to me to say, “We’ll be waiting in the car” When they made it to the car Alex opened the door for her and she giggled and said thank you.

 “Hey sorry about that, “ Jordan came up beside me and said. “No problem at all, Cameron and Alex are already in the car.”

 “Well then lets get going” she said with a smile on her face. I smiled and put my arm around her waist and led her to the car.
