You were in your bedroom trying to pick out something to wear tonight. Zayn told you to get ready for the dinner date he was taking you to later on. Since you two hadn't gone out in a while, you wanted to look good.

You kept looking and looking through your closet for the perfect thing to wear. You finally decided on a black leather skirt, with a cute white top, and gorgeous strappy black heels. Once you were dressed, you started on your hair. After a few minutes of debating, you decided to go with straight hair. So you pulled out your straightener and got to work. About 30 minutes later you had long, sleek glossy hair And now started on your makeup. Zayn would always tell you not to wear makeup because you didn't need it. But you thought 'if I'm going out in public, I need at least a little!' So you ended up putting on a little blush, mascara, eye shadow, and eye liner. Once you finished, you went and looked at yourself in the mirror. You smiled and thought 'Daym!! I don't mean to brag, but I look hawt!'

You we're walking down the stairs and we're about to call out for Zayn to see if he was ready, until you heard the doorbell. You changed direction and ended up walking to the door. You open it a bit surprised and confused to see Zayn standing there( looking gorgeous like always). 'Did he get locked out or something?' "Hi love..", he says in a deep voice. "Hi? Haha.. Zayn, what are you doing?" He takes your hand, then says, "I'm here to pick you up for our date babe." You laugh and say "But you live here!" "So?? You still deserve the best.." You just giggle, "You are truly a mysterious one Malik." He smirks, "So, are you ready??" You quickly run to get your purse and walk to the car with Zayn holding your hand. He guides you in the car, then starts drivi,g to the restaurant.

About 20 Minutes Later

You are now sitting at the booth with Zayn. 'All day he's been very lovey-dovey.. I wonder why?' As if he read your mind he said "Emm..there's actually a reason why I brought you here Y/N.." 'oh no.." You thought. "Is everything okay?",you said looking into his suddenly turned serious eyes. "Well..actually no- I..",he started but was cut off by the waiter, who asked to take your orders. You and Zayn quickly ordered so you could get back to your talk.

You could feel a lot of tension, so you just stayed quiet, allowing Zayn to talk. "So erm..I was saying that..I can't be with you anymore.." Your heart sank. Everything got dark and your light died away. "Wh-what??" You were near tears now,"You're- you're breaking up with..me??" The he started with the cliche, 'It's not you..it's me..'. Then added "You know..with my job and all, I hardly get to see you and it feels like we're drifting.." You we're now crying and shouted,"But we can work it out!! We'll just..just try harder!!" He just sighed and said,"There's also another reason.." You thought 'oh great..let me hear it' You said through your tears, "Wh-what is i-it?" He looked up and gave you a sad smile,"The other reason is that..it's..APRIL FOOLS!!" You looked right at him as you saw him laugh and smile. Relief quickly washed over you as you took in what just happened. It took a moment for it to sink in, and once you realized, you punched Zayn in the arm saying,"That was NOT funny!!!" He looked at you and smiled as he wiped your tears, "oh.. But it kinda was!" "I thought you we're serious!!", you sniffled. He lightly grabbed your face and made you look at him, "I could NEVER EVER leave you. There's just no way. I love you too much...."

At least one good thing came from Zayn's little joke. Later on that night, you two had a pretty steamy night...❤
