Tanumaki's POV:

"God, your strong.." I say, holding Tanjiro in stance as he pressures against my sword. "Ughh.." he grits out, and I take this opportunity to break the stance and take a few steps back. I swing the sword to my side, inching closer to Tanjiro as he walks too. He attacks, I block, he attacks, I block and this continues. He keeps me on the defense, and I'm amused with his technique. *Tsugikuni's definitely going to be interested, especially since he uses the same technique as her. He has high hopes of being Yoko's Tsugoku.*

"Your quite strong, y'know? Quite strong for a Mizunoto. I should ask Oyakata-sama to promote you to a Kinoe, Tanjiro." I say slyly, attacking him in the knee, but he blocks. This is what I find interesting about him, he's quick to react and very observative.

"A Ki-Kinoe, Yoi-san?" He asks panting after breaking free of my attack. "Your strong, and you use the same technique as Yoko. She could probably take you under her wing. I mean, she could make you her Tsugoku, Tanjiro." Tanjiro was honestly kind of shocked, mostly because of how I knew he used the same technique as Tsugikuni. I mean, it's obvious. His blade is the same colour as hers, and they have the scar and earrings. Pretty obvious, right?

"How do you know?" He asked out of curiosity and shock, while all the others just stare at him at how effortlessly he talks to me, not me personally but all the Hashiras, besides Shinazugawa and Iguro. Well, I don't have to explain, do I? They're cold and rash, especially towards younger slayers. Well, they still have their good side. They're like two sides of the exact same coin.

"It's easy honestly. You just have to piece the puzzle together, and here you have it. It's quite simple, Tanjiro. It isn't rocket science to figure out that you and Tsugikuni use the same breathing style." I explain, and the other trainees keep staring at us and eavesdropping on our conversation, not even trying to hide it. "I see." He responds.

He's an interesting boy, according to me. I'm quite excited to train for the next 6 days. It's going to be very interesting. I think as I refresh myself and it was dusk. I head inside and drink some tea, refreshing myself before having to go on a mission. Gosh, it was long, but interesting day.
