Nico's POV:
"He's got no worth! He breaks everything he touches. Yet you still let him stay! The boys grown on you!" Persephone yelled at Hades. "He has not! I'll deal with him now!" Hades argued, Persephone let out a frustrated yell and stormed up to me. "The only people who ever loved you are dead." She hissed in my ear then walked out of the room.
I looked up at my father. "Why do you constantly piss her off?!" He asked his voice raised. "It was one ugly vase. I didn't know it was there. It was an accident. " I tried to defend myself. "No! I need you to leave, and don't you dare come back. Start packing I want you out before the morning." He told me.
I was trying to fight the tears from falling, I opened my mouth to argue. "I WISH YOUR SISTER WAS THE ONE THAT LIVED INSTEAD OF YOU!!!" He yelled, the tears fell freely. "YOU THINK I DON'T WISH THE SAME?!?!" I yelled back. He backed down. "Nico. .." He whispered shocked by my outburst. "You want me to leave? Fine. Anything to get away from here." I spat and stormed out the throne room. I headed to my room to pack.
When I had packed all my belongings in a duffle bag. I knew that I had to say bye to two of my only friends. I slung the bag over my shoulder and headed to cerberus the three headed dog. "Hey boy!" I smiled petting the first head that came my way, "I have to go leave but I knew I couldn't go without saying good bye to my favorite dog first" I explained scratching him behind his ears. He wagged his tail barking happily. "I love you boy" I muttered then walked out to the ferry man.
"Nico! Please tell me your dad was joking! Well, he can't joke but still. Are you leaving?!" He asked me. I nodded and he sighed. "Your dad wanted me to give you these." He told me and held out five bags and a bottle. Two of the bags were full of pomegranate seeds, another bag held five rolls of cash, the last two had godly money and ambrosia. I could only guess the container was nectar.
"Thanks" I said and stuffed everything in my bag. "Do you have somewhere to go?" He asked me. I thought of Camp Half-Blood and nodded. "I have a place to stay for a while. Okay, take care of yourself man." I told him and enveloped myself in shadows using the last of my energy to get to camp. As I stepped out of the shadow I tripped from exhaustion. I didn't care that I was on the floor. Or the fact that someone was snoring near me. I just passed out.
PERCY'S POV:
I got up the next morning and let out a huge yawn. I ran a hand through my hair as I smacked my lips tiredly. It wasn't till I was fully awake that I noticed the pale boy sprawled on my floor. "Neeks?" I asked recognizing his face. I quickly jumped off the bed kneeling in front of the scrawny kid. I picked him up and laid him on my bed and pulled the covers over his cold body. I wanted to stay with him till he woke up but the horn blared, calling for breakfast. I groaned and slipped into my jeans.
After leaving the cabin I sped through the line for food and sat down at the Poseidon's table. Being a child of one of the big three means I have no siblings to sit with me. But the rules have changed since the war ended, now the seven and Nico are allowed to sit where ever their heart desires. Leo and Jason grabbed their breakfast and headed to my table.
"Tell him," Jason ordered Leo who nodded vigorously. "have these sensors that I set up during the war. They are set up at each cabin and around the whole camp. That's not the point. The point is the sensors only go off when something zaps itself into camp, and last night the one by your cabin was triggered." Leo finished taking a bite out of his apple crunching it loudly for emphasis. " Think we should check it out? " Jason asked.
Immediately I shook my head, "that was most likely Nico. I woke up this morning and he was passed out on the floor, poor guy." I told them. Jason and Leo shared a shocked look. " Finish your food, we're going to your cabin in ten minutes. " Leo ordered then stole a handful of tater-tots from my plate. He headed over to the Hephtaesus table. Jason rolled his eyes and we ate the rest of our breakfast. After ten minutes had passed we were walking to my cabin. I had a plate of food for Nico. It was pomegranates which he always seemed to be eating and blue pancakes.
"I can't wait to see the little man! What has it been? Four months? No, five months! That's a lot of growing time! Wait! Did he grow a mustache? Never mind don't spoil! I want to be surprised!" Leo jumped up and down clearly excited to see Nico. I opened the door to see the nico was now curled up in a ball reminding me of a kitten. "He didn't grow a mustache." Leo mumbled sounding disappointed. I chuckled and walked to his bedside. I set the plate on the night stand.
"Hey neeks," I said giving his shoulder a shake. He did what every teen does when they don't want to wake up. He grabbed a fistful of my blanket and turned over facing the wall. "Let me try! My mom use to say this to me when I didn't want to get up!" Leo sucked in a huge breath "si usted no consigue Ahora mismo voy a verter agua helada sobre ti (Spanish, Translation: if you don't get up right now I'm going to throw ice water on you)!" Leo yelled, the only reaction he got from Nico was my pillow being thrown in his direction, causing his psychotic smile to drop.
"That always worked on me." He muttered, I grabbed Nico's shoulder and shook it repeatedly. "Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeks" I groaned. "Whoever in Hades name is touching me will be severely punished." Nico growled and turned back to us not giving me the opportunity to pull my hand back. "Percy? Am I? Oh gods I'm in your bed? " He asked me and sat up.
His face turned a light pink. "Are you okay? You seem sick." I asked him putting a hand to his forehead. "I'm fine" He told me and pushed my hand away. "Sunshine!" Leo announced, Nico looked up at him amused. "Firepony" He replied. "So, why did you pop up in my cabin last night?"
I asked handing Nico the food. "It was late. I was tired, all I could focus on was getting here. I wasn't really concentrating on what cabin I ended up in." He said nonchalantly then bit into the pomegranate. He gave the blue pancakes a weird look. "What's up with you and blue food?" Leo asked. I shrugged, "it's an obsession." I sighed staring at the pancake. "It's weird." Jason corrected. I gave a nod, agreeing.
"Maybe we should start calling him Sea Weird-Brain" Nico commented. I looked over at him and he had one of those rare 'I'm almost smiling ' expressions where the corners of his lips slightly tilted upwards when no one said anything they went back to its normal bored expression. "So what are you doing back?" I asked
