'I'll take the bus home' I announciated into my phone tediously so my mother could comprehend that i hadn't been abducted.

'Why can't I pick you up now?' exclaimed my angry mother. I hesitated, my mouth was about to form the words 'I lied to you about going to my friends house, when really I went to a club' but I shoved that thought aside.

" 'Cause we haven't had dinner yet and her mom prepared it escpesially for us".

"What did she make you guys" was my mothers subdued tone.

" Urmm.. I think its fish and chips"

"Mmokay, call us when your finished then."

" 'Kay bye" I hung up. I lifted my head to gaze at the traffic lights which were currently turning amber, although it was hard for me to be sure as the last light of the day was disappearing behind the skyline. My heart heaved as I remmeber that I was a spoiled little daddy's girl whom had never taken public transport in my entire time of existing on this planet.

The truth was. I was lost.

I hadn't been completly lying when I told my doting parents that I was going to a friends house, as I actually was. Though staying within the confinds of the four walls... We did... For an hour or two, due to us getting sexed up for the club. Although when we did arrive there, I only stayed for the first hour because luckly little young me, my parents called demanding me to wait outside my friends house until they got there in ten minutes. Now, I'll confess, I'm not the brightest bulb at the Maddison Sqaure Gardens Stadium, which is now the reason as to why I am lost, because in my hast to persuade my parents to stay at my 'friends house', I started running in the direction of which I presumed was her house and ended up getting lost. Which leads me back to the conversation where i lied about catching public transport. To my surprise, I can't believe my mom didn't catch my bluff.

I looked down at my phone. 6:51pm. With my little knowledge of public transport from listening to my friends jibber on about it, I cursed under my breath. There would be no buses comming this late in the afternoon! I looked around me, there were people with Ipods in their ears and scarfs around their neck covering the Ipod's wires. I noticed I was standing in the middle of a hill with my five inch heels and short short gold fringe dress with matching top. I didn't feel cold in the slightest, though my arches hurt from standing still for so long.

I started walking down the hill to flat ground so I could be left with my thoughts and not worry about external distarctions. At the bottom of the hill there was a crumbling round-about with cars speeding past and occasionally a vehical which was in a particular rush would run into the round about causing further damage. I looked to the right and saw the entrance to the freeway-no hope there. I turned my head to left to find a glowing ambience a few hundred metres up the road. It was beautiful. No beautiful would not do this complex justice. All the adjectives in the english dictionary could not describe this sight. I was instantly drawn to flashing lights reading Versace and Dior along with a hell of a lot more!

"Shit" I murmered under my breath. I forgot my purse at the club! Shopping opurtunity gone. I hope my friend realised that i left it and takes it for me. I wonder if she's even realised I've left? I start walking towards Heaven.

Within one-hundred metres can  I really see what i missed at the traffic lights. A platinum sign with shimmering gold lining frames the enormous arch or the entrance. I try to read the silver cursive writing on the platinum sign- so I can be sure to come back here when I have money-, but my eye couldn't focus long enough on a one object before it was drawn to another beauty. I walked slowly through the arch, dazed at all the shining, pristine, prestigeous stores linging the confinds of 'Heaven'. As opposed to the uneven hill from which I started, the people here wore attire that was seen in Vogue magazines or on catwalks- expensive and unwearable in reality. I continued to travel down the rows of boutiques and designer brands until a strange feeling overwhelmed me and I stopped stone cold. Someone ramed me in the back, completely unprepared for my sudden halt. They muttered a curse and walked on, but I ignored the comment and looked straight over my shoulder to a middle-aged couple.

The man's hair was thining, but still a natural shade of light brown. He wore a tweed jacket with burgundy elbow patches and brown suede pants. His wife-by the looks of the way she was grasping his elbow tenderly- was dressed in a sliming black dress which ended at her boney calf. The couple were laughing and pointing in my direction. I gave them a dirty look- I was tempted to flip them off, but decided that ending a fragile couples life by physically cursing them was below my standards.

I turned around but saw them move towards me as my shoulder squared itself. I walked a few paces forward until I heard the remarkable loud giggle from behind my shoulder.

"Isn't she cute?!" asked the laughing voice. "I want her! She's so adorable! Can we have her?" I turned around to confront the arrogant voice only to find the old couple just a pace away from mine. My face went stoic. The couples greedy eyes devoured my body with their hungry gazes. They were eating up my skin, one bit of soft flesh at a time. The female reached her hand out, but I was quicker. I sprinted before she could lay her boney fingers on my flesh. My eyes overflowed with hot panic-filled tears. A giant sob broke out of my sealed lips. I swinged my head around trying to capture someone elses gaze, but caught no ones. Except the chilling couple who had their eyeballs glued to my form.

I cried out a hysterical plea, but no one noticed. My extended arm collided with a pristine glass door with a sliver carved handle I caught my reflexion in the glass. My usually calm half closed eyes were now pushed open with fear, mascara bleeding from my waterline. I pushed past my reflexion and ran to the counter. The woman behind it was unfazed, like she dealt with hysterical, makeup disaster teens everyday. The womens eyes didn't lay on me once, but focused on something behind me. I turned, already knowing what stood before me.

The couple stalked towards me, the woman grinning with disturbing happiness, hear eyes fiendish. She seperated her thin lips, raised her eyes towards the motionless woman at the counter and said, "We'll take her".
