At The Party

Several months have gone by and I got my lead position as head maid once again. Seemingly, Claude and I have been getting only a lot closer though something is a little off. I don't really remember what.

Lost in my own thoughts, I walked in master Trancy's room carrying another dress that he asked for. Grabbing one of the dresses I was holding, he draped it over Claude's tall form. "Maybe you should wear this Claude."

"Yes, Claude. You should wear that you would look rather dashing wouldn't you?" I teased.

"Louisiana's right Claude. You should be a little bit more festive once in a while." Master Trancy agrees as he wraps arms around me and leans his head on my shoulder making puppy dog eyes at Claude.

Claude's scowl is even more intense than it usually is, indicating he's amused at our proposition.

Trancy let go of me immediately, returning the scowl to Claude. I moved to put the dresses on the king sized bed then resume my place next to Claude. "There is no suitable costumes." His eyes speak of only maliciousness. Looking at me, he commands. "Louisiana take off your dress."

I looked at him wide eyed.

Claude immediately cut in. "Your Highness." He gives off a word of warning.

Master Trancy scoffed, then turned around facing Hannah. "On second thought Hannah. Take off your uniform, it's much prettier."

I made a movement to interject, but Claude had put his hand over my mouth to stop me. "Go to Hannah's room and get her a change of clothing." He orders me out of the room. I do as I was told quickly. I didn't want to leave Hannah in their hands for too long.

When I returned, I saw Hannah only in her corset. I pushed Claude out of the room. "You needn't to stare." A unfamiliar feeling raised from the pit of my stomach. I covered her large breasts with the folded uniform.

Master Trancy held up the dress to his body. Since Hannah was a little bit taller and more of an hour glass shape, he ordered me to go tailor it. "And find some shoes to match the dress as well, Louisiana. My delicate feet won't fit in these elephant shoes."

"Right away master Trancy." I said as I left the room.

"Jealous?" A smirk plastered on his handsome face. He was just waiting right outside the door.

"No, don't try to frame me with such nonsense, Claude." I retorted and walked off to the sewing room. He thinks I'm jealous? That's ridiculous.

"Louisiana."

I was pulled into a huddle.

"Claude asked us to ask you to make the sweets for the ball tonight." Timber whispered in my ear.

"You know what type of sweets?" I whispered into his ear.

I was yanked to the left side. "Says he doesn't care. Make something with chocolate. I like chocolate."

"I like chocolate."

"I like chocolate."

"Alright! I understand. I'll make something containing chocolate." I huffed out, smiled, then walked away.

I made my way to making the feast for the party tonight along with multiple chocolate items for the dessert table.

"Hannah you are to execute the plan swiftly. Louisiana you are to help her." Claude ordered. He looked over to the triplets. "You are to accompany me along with master Trancy." We all received our orders and left the kitchen. I walked out, in my usual attire though it was a costume ball, and offered the guests drinks laced with my special tonic. It's to make them relaxed and drunk a little bit faster.

Who doesn't like to have fun at a party, right?

"A drink sir, ma'am?" I offered an Asian man and his female friend a drink. They took from the tray I was holding. It was odd but it seemed like the man didn't open his eyes at all.

The woman looked at me with a strange expression, but remained silent as I walked away.

"Would you like a drink?" I repeated around the whole entire room. Then master Trancy walks in with Hannah's uniform to offer Ciel Phantomhive a drink.

I was told to strictly follow orders.

"L-Lou L-Loui ... ana?" A young man stuttered at me, then backed away from me. I only looked at him with an odd expression.

"Louisiana!" A man slowly walked towards me, panting. "One of the musicians ..." He caught his breath, then continued. "He said he couldn't make it."

"Alright, I'll sub for him." I huffed. Musicians, they think they can be ill at a time like this. Ha! They think they can be ill at all.

I motioned at one of the triplets to take my tray. Timber, who just fixed a table that was sliced in half by one of the party guest, walked over to me.

"Take this, I have to sub for a missing musician." I ordered. He just nodded and proceeded to do his job. I walked over to the orchestra. "Alright, what instrument do I have to play?" I prayed that it wouldn't be something too hard. After all I did assign high level music for professionals.

"Look, Finny, I'm sorry to say this but Louisiana isn't here with us anymore!" A man yelled out to the young man that acted all weird around me.

"I saw it happen, yes I did." A female voice said dejectedly.

"But, I saw her on the train-"

"Finny! Just stop, the woman on the train may have just looked like her but ... no."

"I miss her very much, yes I do!" The female whined.

"Miss Louisiana? Hello?" I was called back to my current situation.

"Yes. Alright! What instrument was it again?" I asked again.

"The violin, miss." The girl said then walked back to her seat to start the next song. I walked towards the empty chair, then I remembered that I don't own a violin.

Surely the music room should have a violin. Silently, I slipped out of the room and headed towards the music room following the empty halls.

Inside the music room, I walked over to the big cabinet. There must be a violin in there.

A certain familiar smell waffled to my nose. "You again?" I turned around to see the mysterious guest that we had to chase halfway through the woods for, but ended up fruitless.

"Louisiana, my, have you changed." He emerged from the shadows. His eyes widened when he saw my face.

"I don't understand what you are saying. I just came in here to look for a violin." I said, opening the cabinet. Neatly inside, were various other percussion equipment, but no violins.

"The second cabinet from your right." The man instructed.

Opening the second cabinet from my right, I found the violin. "Thank you." I decided not to question how he knew where they were.

"Playing the devil's instrument, Louisiana? I distinctly remember your main instrument was the piano."

I looked at him, taken back. Then the shock wore off. "No, it's not the piano. But how do you know so much about me?"

"I used to know you very well. In fact I know you very well, every single inch."

I shivered. "You must have mistaken me for someone else, I don't know you. I must take my leave now. Have a good time at the party."

"You really did change a lot, Louisiana. Let it be for the better or not, I hope you remember your lover."

I looked at him as I walked out the door. "If you must know, my main instrument is the pipe organ."

He smiled at me lazily. "Of course it is."
