Next day the sun had barely begun to set when a heated argument broke out in the clearing. Yoongi stood with his arms crossed, his expression calm but his tone sharp as he faced Jimin, who looked moments away from throwing something at him.

“Yoongi, for the last time, you can’t just disappear for hours without telling anyone!” Jimin snapped, glaring at his mate.

“I wasn’t disappearing, Jimin,” Yoongi replied lazily, though the slight smirk on his lips didn’t help his case. “I was hunting. You said we needed food.”

“For four hours?” Jimin yelled, his voice rising in pitch. “You expect me to believe that?”

“You always overreact,” Yoongi shot back, his smirk growing wider.

“Overreact?! I’m going to—” Jimin paused mid-sentence, his eyes darting around for something to throw.

Meanwhile, Sunoo sat a few feet away, clutching his stomach as he laughed uncontrollably. “Oh my gosh, Papa and Dad are always like this,” he said between giggles. “This is amazing!”

“Both of you stop it,” Jungkook scolded lightly as he walked over with Jihyo in tow.

“But it’s funny!” Taehyung exclaimed, tears of laughter in his eyes.

“It’s not funny,” Jihyo chimed in, though she was clearly holding back a smile. She turned to Jimin, who looked seconds away from shifting into his wolf form out of sheer frustration. “Jimin, come on. You know Yoongi does this all the time.”

“That’s the problem!” Jimin snapped, throwing his hands up. “He never learns!”

On the other side of the clearing, Jin let out a long-suffering sigh and made his way over to the kids, shaking his head. “Don’t mind them,” he said, his voice calm but tired. “This is a normal scene for us.”

They all exchanged amused glances before bursting into laughter.

“It’s so chaotic,” Jake said, wiping a tear from his eye.

“No wonder Sunoo finds it funny,” Ni-ki added, grinning.

“I think  Yoongi just likes getting a reaction out of  Jimin,” Jay said knowingly.

Jin crossed his arms, his face betraying a faint smile. “That’s exactly it. Yoongi knows what he’s doing. Jimin’s temper is just too easy to set off.”

Across the clearing, J-Hope, Taehyung, and Namjoon were all trying—and failing—to calm Jimin down.

“Jimin-ah, relax,” Namjoon said in his usual calm tone, holding his hands up as though approaching a wild animal.

“Don’t tell me to relax!” Jimin snapped, his eyes blazing.

“Jimin, come on, Yoongi’s just teasing you,” J-Hope said, stepping between Jimin and Yoongi. “You know how he is.”

“That doesn’t make it okay!” Jimin retorted, pointing an accusing finger at Yoongi.

Meanwhile, Taehyung stood to the side, clearly trying to suppress a laugh as he watched the scene unfold. “Jungkook-ah, your best friend’s about to explode,” he called out playfully.

“You’re not helping, Taehyung,” Jungkook muttered, rubbing his temples.

While all this unfolded, Sunghoon’s attention was caught by the sight of Heeseung staring at him. The intensity of Heeseung’s gaze made his heart skip a beat, and he quickly looked away, feeling his cheeks heat up.

“Sunghoon, are you okay?” Jungwon whispered, noticing his brother’s sudden shyness.

Sunghoon shook his head quickly, silently signaling that everything was fine.
