*Ding dong*

I ring my parents door bell as I put away my phone. Just checking my Facebook.

"Hey son." My dad says as the door swings open. My dad, Christian Hollow, the lead singer of Angel's Cry and the friendliest guy you'll ever meet. Dressed in his Gray cargo shorts, ripped sleeveless, and his black Converse, he was ready for the annual New Years Eve Party, his black hair and green eyes show his childish behavior. "Alice, Aron is here." I here banging as my mom runs out of the hall to the top of the stairs.

"There's my Echo." She smiles as her vibrant purple hair rushes down the steps to greet me. I get enveloped in a hug from my mom, who is dressed much nicer than my dad. She's wearing a gray button up with dark blue skinny jeans, bright red vans standing out from the outfit.

"Hey guys. Adam and Courtney will be here later with the drums and the bass for tonight. So who all is coming this year?" I asked, jumping on the couch.

"Well my darling son," My mom started as she jumped onto the couch next to me. "BVB is coming, along with ATL, PTV, and our new friend Destiny McBride. I think she's about your age." Oh yay. My parents are trying to set me up again. After the Snow thing my parent have just been crazy about finding me a girlfriend. I honestly would rather focus on my music.
"Coolness. I'm gonna go smoke." I say going out the door to the dock.

So a party with a bunch of friends would be awesome right? Wrong. I just stand and the end of the dock smoking my cancer sticks. I hear footsteps clack against the dock as they approach. Instead of letting my curiosity get the best of me, I just stand and watch the moon as I inhale deadly smoke.

"You're Aron, right?" I hear a feminine voice ask. I see smoke fly by my eyes as I sigh.

"Depends." I say.

"On?" The voice replies.

"Who's asking." I reply. I here shuffling as the girl gets closer.

"Destiny." Ooh the girl my parents are trying to set me up with. I turn. Surprised, I stay quiet. This girl was stunning. She had white hair that went well with her piercing, icy blue eyes. She wore a Nightmare before Christmas crop top, tight black skinny jeans, a nose ring, and blue vans. She was really skinny but not as skinny as Courtney. I take off my thick winter jacket and hand it to her.

"You look cold." I said. She took the jacket and wrapped herself with it.

"Thanks." She said then frowned. I got curious.

"What my jacket has a hole in it?" I asked as I took a drag from my cig. She shook her head as she stared at my lips. Oh.

"Your parents didn't mention that you're a smoker." She said. I smiled.

"They tried to set you up with me huh?" I asked. She nodded. "Well I'm not interested, girly." I said and turned back around.

"Why not?" She asked. I took a swig from the vodka bottle at my feet. It burned going down, but it was a good burn.

"None of your concern." I said as took another drag from my cig. She came and hugged me from behind.

"People who drink usually drink to forget. What are you trying to forget?" She asked me.

"Life." I replied.
