I woke up to light snoring from the little bundle of joy sleeping next to me, also known as Thalia. When you really looked at her, she kind of looked like me. She had my big brown eyes (when I wear contacts) but she had my Uncle's blond hair and shade of brown from his eyes. She was beautiful. She was up to my thighs in height, I know she will take after Victoria in the height department. Victoria was tall and slender and had red hair and green eyes. Too bad their personalities don't match their appearance. I took a quick shower and got ready to go downstairs to make some breakfast for the whole pack. I had already cleaned yesterday so I didn't need to clean that much today which gave me a chance to get some paperwork done in the office. Slowly pack members came down to eat, thank god that our members were already at an age where they didn't go to school, it was only me and Thalia who will be sent to preschool. I'm so excited for her, it will be her first school!!! It was early June so Thalia and I would be starting school in September, me as a senior in high school. I never needed to go to school with the vast knowledge and all but I wanted the experience. When everyone was settled including my Uncle and his mate I went upstairs with a plate of food for Thalia.
"My love, wake up sweetie, I brought you some breakfast, would you like to eat some?" I whispered with a kiss to my daughter. She was barely three so she still couldn't pronounce some of her letters but was very smart for her age.
"Mommy, you smell weely nice! And I'll eat my bweakfast if you gib me a kish!" she said with a toothy grin on her face.
I laughed, "You wanna kiss aye? I don't know..." I pretended to think, "You still didn't give me a kiss yet, so how can I kiss you if I didn't get anything in return?" She giggled at me and grabbed at my face with her cute little hands, and gave me a slobbery kiss. I pretended to make a disgusted face while getting rid of her saliva on my face.
"Alright missy, time to get you ready and you can eat in my office while I do some work, okay baby?"

"Otay mommy!" I smiled down at her and gave her a quick shower and put her in an outfit that matched mine, we always tried to match our clothes. I walked to my office with her holding my hand with a vice grip, what can I say, she's really attached. I sat her down at the little glass table at the corner of the office and let her eat while I paid the bills, "I hope I could get through them quick without any interruptions so I coul--"

My Uncle had walked in and he already looked drunk out of his mind but, something was different, something was wrong. He was smirking at me like he pulled the best prank on me. I turned to Thalia,
"Thalia, baby, go and find Amos and play with him for a while okay, my love?"
