JULIETTES knee couldn't stop bouncing as they drove to the AirBnB Drew's stepdad had rented for the immediate family for the week. Drew was in the front seat laughing with Garrett, who was incredibly nice and had spent the first 15 minutes of the drive asking Juliette about herself, until he and Drew got distracted. Despite his kindness, she was happy she didn't have to continue sharing; the more she shared now, the more she had to re-share with the rest of the family later.
The North Carolinian country was gorgeous, and it seemed the further North they drove, the more Juliette fell in love. She'd only been to Charlotte for a show and Asheville when she was a kid. There were so many trees and so much eye catching landscape once they drove out of the city. Juliette could live here, go back to her roots; get a farm with land, enough for her horse and room for dogs and sheep.
She was snapped from her daydream as they pulled into the driveway of a two story white farmhouse, and Juliette fell in love again. The thing about her is that she cannot escape her roots. She grew up on a patch of land, with a horse and a farmhouse South of Knoxville and seeing the country side like this had her remembering her childhood. It made her miss home.
"Everyone is here except your dad, he gets in tomorrow. But they're all excited to see you guys." Garret smiled as he put the car in park, all 4 of them hopping out of the SUV and rounding the back, where Drew and Garret pulled out the suitcases and bags and passed them out.
