I gave kayla some time ta ha self i aint gone rush ha into anything right na' i know that abusive shit brings back memories that she wants to forget About so right now im jus focused on being there fa ha

I'm in the parking lot of the boys school I went to pick them up since Kayla is busy at the shop

The boys came running to the car and they got in

Drew and Aj- hey dad

August- my main men what's poppin?

Aj- nothing much we got girlfriends

August- is that right

Drew - Yea my girlfriends name is Angel and Aj has a girlfriend named makayla ,just like mommy

I laughed and started the car up

August- wait till she hears this , put chall seat belts on so we can roll

Drew and Aj - ok

Drew- dad can we get ice cream

August- Yea

I took em ta go get ice cream and then we went back ta ma spot i helped em with they home work and after they was finished i let em do whatever they wanted to

They was in the kitchen playing with they toys at the table and i went in the fridge

Drew- Dad can i have apple juice?

Aug- Apple juice....Apple juice , Aint no apple juice i got some cranberry juice fa yu

Aj- ooool you finna be on da toilet

I laughed and looked at em

Drew- Never mind den , yu got gatorade?

Aug- yeah

I got em a gatorade nd rubbed his head

Aug- what chall gone eat fa dinna' tho?!

Aj- we stayin at yo' house tonight ?

Aug- yea

Aj- i miss mommie!!!

Drew - call ha' dad tell her come hea

Aug- okay i will , but yall still aint answer me

Aj- uhhh chicken nuggets

Drew- Sushi

Aug- sushi?! I knew living witchall momma would turn yall spoiled go get chall shoes we gettin Popeyes

Aj- dad thats all we eat when we stay with you !

Drew- can yu make curry chicken , rice and fried plantains

Aug- ohh god! Im not a Jamaican!!! Ion know shit about no plantains im from new orleans ! Thats it im making yall some gumbo

They jus was lookin up at me

Aj- or yu could jus order a pizza dont stress about it
