Kais backstory (in form of in her diary)

"So" Kai said began writing down in a small book that her therapist gave her she said everything in her head as she wrote it down 'I guess it all started with my parents , my dad is in jail and I do t really know where my mom is' she sighed taking a sip of water , not wanting to do this. But every time she tried talking to the therapist about it her throat would close up and she couldn't talk , she didn't know why it just happened ' they are insane, my birth parents that is, they left me in my crib.. For months at a time. Not taking me out, I developed bipolar and adhd from my mother is what I think, severe depression also' Kai coughed looking away from the book for a moment to think 'I was taken away by child services after that and put up for adoption, two kind people who I love took good care of me, but then my mother, adopted, started to get addicted to this medicine that made her think she had to kill herself to wake up. For awhile j stayed home to keep her safe, but recently she is going to rehab and will be coming home in a month, hopefully she will be alright after this' Kai sighed not wanting write anymore 'I mean yeh I had a fucked up child hood, but hey I'm going to school and getting a education still.' She laughed at her remark closing the book and putting it away , taking out her homework and starting to do it,
