CHAPTER 1- Blushing is in my genes

I never knew what you meant to me

Until you went away

Away from me,

away from this world,

away from everything

Maybe I should have stopped you

Told you that you are loved

and will be,

by one and all,

or at least me

But all I did was shout and scream

And now, I sit by the couch

And day-dream, about you and me

I wonder

will I ever get another chance?

To touch you

To feel you

To hold you and tell you

That I really love you?

I know I was cruel

I know I was mean

I know it's too late

But I need to confess-I'm so sorry.

I sighed dreamily as I closed the book. I turned around to check the time.

5:45am. Good enough.

I got up from the bed and walked towards my mini-library. It didn't take me much time to find the  novel I was planning to read since quite a long time.

What are you waiting for?

"Chapter 5....Chapter 5.." I said as I flipped the pages one by one. "Here it is.." A wicked smile crept up my face.

Should I read it now or just wait?

My thoughts were interrupted as my stomach growled.

 And this signal was enough to convince me that it wasn't the right time to read this book. I brushed my teeth and freshened up.

Let's fill my tummy first, and then I'll continue

I hopped downstairs to the kitchen, just to find mom wearing her sport shoes. Amanda Hunt. She was six feet tall, with dirty blonde hair and with the bluest eyes I'd ever seen. Ever since she had gained a few pounds, she had become a fitness freak.

"Good morning mom..." I mumbled as I grabbed the water bottle.

"Good morning....you woke up so early today!"

I never even slept.

I smiled.

"Have you seen my watch?"

"Yup, it's in my room.."

She got up from the sofa and went upstairs.
